I love A2Z. We used to have ExpoCad and I often visit other Website that use ExpoCad and there is no comparison. It is just a clean and easy to use software. It looks crisp and clean - so easy to read.
It’s particularly suitable for large meetings and town halls, where it can run live polls and make the meeting more interactive. For less formal scenarios, such as small meetings and quick calls, or when the public is not particularly tech-savvy. All in all, it’s a great tool that can fit in a bunch of scenarios.
Coming from software where I had a huge amount of access to the "backend", it would be nice to be able to manipulate areas of the Exhibit Floorplan a little easier with regard to items like tables, chairs, stages, etc. Maybe add some icons that could be pasted into the floorplan for faster success?
The agenda within A2Z does not give you the ability to host on your own conference site.
The agenda view is sometimes perceived as being too long, there's a lot of extra "white space".
I miss the Slack integration; they used to have this and they deprecated it in the last year or so.
I believe they have a nice integration for PowerPoint, would be nice if they had something similar with google slides since that is what we typically use internally.
We use the word cloud feature often and sometimes answers seem to get lost (as in don't show up at all) on the screen. for example, an answer will be there, then as more answers come in it disappears, and when we get to a certain threshold of answers it somehow pops back up again. It's not the worst but sometimes someone will ping me that their submission didn't make the word cloud and they're bummed.
The ease of use above everything else@ The power of questions used in such a user-friendly way. The fact that everybody now has a cell phone allows this tool to be used everywhere and in all kinds of group interactions. The sheer joy of seeing the results on your phone right away! Transparency rules!
The one reason I choose a tool for my workshop over other tools is their usability. I need a tool that my audience will be able to use adequately very rapidly. The learning curve has to be very steep. I never have the time to "train" my client on a new tool. They are always in a rush and there should not be anytime wasted in learning how to use a new tool. Slido provides me with great functionalities that are easyly learned in a live environment , be it virtual or in a face to face situation.
I had to use the support for this tool only once. The response was very rapid, very professional and fulfilled my needs immediately. Online support services are sometimes advertised only to lure people into buying the product but and non-existent or difficult to use afterwards. Not with Slido. This was not an automated chatbot and the direct contact really helped me
I find that training is very informative as it helps understanding the software usages and implementation. It gives the usgaes area and how to create gamification and live Q&A section so that you can use in live team meetings and workshops. It is very useful in training and webinars where a large pool of people are there.
I've used Map Your Show, as well as ExpoCad. Each has their own redeeming qualities, and the success of A2Z is also based on the support you receive from the provider. Customer Support and being assigned to one support team player from A2Z has been huge and we have greatly appreciated it.
The real-time polling and Q&A features are seamless. Participants can ask questions and vote on them, allowing for dynamic interaction during presentations. Plus, Slido integrates well with popular presentation tools like PowerPoint and Google Slides, and the Interface is awesome for both me as a host and for my participants to navigate.
Positive - it provides one place from which primary players in the conference could pull information. A2Z maintains consistency and lowers the discrepancy issue when everyone tries to keep their own little database.
Slido helped us increase student engagement which resulted in improved academic results for our students
The Q&A feature helped us answer questions we received from parents and audeince during live events which resulted in increased admissions in our educational institution
The gamification of polls and surveys helped us attract a lot of audience and made the meetings interactive
