It simply helps us internally and externally. By externally, I mean we usually do a quick round of initial testing using Adaface, and internally, I mean we are planning to use it as skills assessment tool for our purpose.I am not sure if there is any control over the googlability of questions. Unfortunately, I cannot edit some questions, whose test is not super clear and I would like to correct it. Many candidates say that the test is anxiety-provoking
I think code signal is one of the best platforms for organizations to better test the resource for their coding skills. Its way of conducting the test saves engineering time, reduces the risks that hiring companies have in technical interviews, and provides a cheating-free environment. The platform can be improved to make the new learners practice well on the platform and get used to it.
The test cases are quite well-written, and the grade we earn as a result of them is very fair. Users can use a unit testing tool to perform their own unit testing, allowing them to double-check their code before submitting it.
Intensive technical interview preparation
The online evaluation option is an excellent approach to assess candidates.
Random questions are useful for practicing, but I believe they should be separated into easy, medium, and difficult levels, with a random generator to assist new coders without demotivating them.
The interval between assessments is a little longer this time. It should, in my opinion, be decreased in a way that benefits everyone.
For the technical assessment round, there is no specific solution. I will not receive a solution if I am unable to solve that question during this time. At the end of the job, a suggestion generator can be used to solve the problem and understand the way of doing it.
The overall ease of use and selection does a good job for it. The focus on design and other aspects would be super helpful in reducing the cost overhead of hiring a new person. Even though we need to take interviews still the screening process is reduced drastically. A bit more UI focus would evolve Code Signal
It's super simple to use. Cleanest interface I have seen. UX is straightforward. They do have help center in case you are stuck but I didn't need it (Used it to know about ATS integrations once). Support team is helpful. Strong positive feedback from our hiring managers for their test reports.
The UI of configuring CodeSignal for a non-technical screener can be tricky to navigate at first. Once you get the hang of the platform and how to master customization, it becomes a much smoother experience. However, some restrictions to search functions and reporting still need improvement.
I am not sure whether or not they have replaced but surely emerged as a big competitor. Their support system should be good knowing that they are in completion with the best hackerrank. I feel they could do a much better job but I have not used their support much
It has clear details for every staff to understand the basic, and staffs can communicate efficiently to provide strong backgrounds. Also, the manager who provided this training has collaborated well with the Codesignal staff so that everyone could learn more about CodeSignal and look at it from different users' perspectives. So the training was really helpful
The pricing for CodeSignal was more in line with what our expectations for this product would be. We were also able to trial it out before buying and everyone on our team liked it. Lastly, it also came recommended from someone in our organization who had used it in a previous company.
My coding abilities have vastly increased and continue to assist me in improving.
It smooths down the screening process, and because the administered appraisals are verified by CodeSignal, the results of the evaluations are guaranteed to be accurate.
Because of their verifiable experience, more people can be hired.
