HyperWorks allows you to do structure analysis fast and precisely. Then, it also have the option of you to run optimization, Optistruct is a good solver and built in to the interface. The GUI sometimes can be overwhelming, because of it provides too much of features, it is pretty distracted and confused what will be the best option to perform analysis.

Alternatives Considered
HyperWorks is far more capable than SOLIDWORKS Simulation offering more simulation solutions for more accurate analysis. The solvers are also more efficient so you get results faster and reduce time to market.

Return on Investment
  • An all in one solution keeps costs down if you need multiple analysis capabilities (FEA, CFD, MBD, etc.)
  • Analysis work supports our other engineering/design work we wouldn't otherwise receive
  • Fast and efficient solvers leads to higher throughput
