We like the Amazon Chime versus Teams - more features and easy to use. We are able to use instant messages - create rooms and do instant training with screen sharing immediately when needed. All of our users have picked it up quickly and really like it. We quit using teams …
Chose Amazon Chime
Amazon has a very good audio and video quality. Chime's video conferencing feature works as expected there is no lag in the audio. If the internet speed is about 50 mpbs + then it works as a charm! At times the desktop can get slow but the mobile application is pretty fast as …

Our reason for the selection of Amazon Chime was a client recommendation. In a comparison of other competitor's products, Amazon Chime provides similar functionality and features. From a pricing perspective, you may opt for pay-per-use pricing which could be confusing for some …
Chose Amazon Chime
Users have a level of familarity with other market leading collaboration products.

However we selected this for the single dashboard for chat, calling, meeting and messaging specifically on phone app. There is a very simple interface with a minimum of clicks to launch the …
Chose Amazon Chime
It's slower and the user experience is much clunkier. It seems like it was developed by and for other developers, not the normal public.
Chose Amazon Chime
Better than skype for business in terms of loading the application onto your device. Skype had crashing issues always and those are comparatively low when using Amazon Chime. Amazon chime is fast and easy to work with while collaborating and setting up meetings. The audio and …
Chose Amazon Chime
I have not tested Amazon Chime, against other market alternatives, as it is being used to meet a specific demand, which is communication with certain companies, as it is the preferred means of communication. But, it is a good tool and does not lose anything to the other tools …
Chose Amazon Chime
All the mentioned above products are better if not rated much higher with the features they have compared to Amazon Chime. Amazon Chime does not support well with google calendar and other negative features I mentioned compared to other products. Amazon Chime lacks features …
Chose Amazon Chime
We chose Amazon Chime due to better pricing, ease of implementation, and great customer support from their team. Better product overall in terms of reliability.
Chose Amazon Chime
Amazon Chime stacks up cleaner and much more intuitive to Google Hangouts Chat. In comparison to Slack, Amazon Chime is much better because Slack is not conducive to having a face-to-face conversation, much less, screen sharing. Microsoft Teams was hard to use when some of our …
Chose Amazon Chime
Amazon's Chime is lightweight and has easy integrations with Slack. Cloud Trail has good call reports, doesn't take time to load compared to other products that I have tried. Its APIs exposed by Amazon are really helpful to customize. The shift from one user to another for …
Chose Amazon Chime
I believe the two products (Slack and Skype) are better suited for the situations where it is a smaller crowd. This is due to those systems being easier to chat within and collaborate in the smaller environment.
Chose Amazon Chime
Amazon Chime product stacks up pretty much equal to the other pieces of software that we have used in the past. What drives the use of the software over the others is purely preference. My team has adapted to using this software, and now it has become what they would rather …
Chose Amazon Chime
We used to use Go To Meeting/Go To Webinar for our web conferencing and AT&T Teleconferencing numbers, either separately or in conjunction with the Go To Meeting/Go To Webinar. I liked that Go To Webinar allowed people to pre-register, which gave us the opportunity to prepare. …
Chose Amazon Chime
Chime was a lot less expensive that WebEx. It was also easier to use and maintain.
Chose Amazon Chime
I would say Chime is step below Teams, but manages to get the job done. Chime is more straight forward and simplistic and meets all our basic needs for internal chat.
Chose Amazon Chime
They are all good products, but here is why we switched:

1. UberConf. This was the first conference software we used. It used to be great, it actually had a free version that worked perfectly. Then the service started to falter, mostly lag time between user and presenter. And …
Chose Amazon Chime
Amazon Chime WILL become an industry leader. Amazon is still behind WebEx and is gaining ground on Microsoft. The advantage Microsoft will have is the ability to embed in organizations through Office, and have that advantage over WebEx as well. We selected Amazon Chime as …
Chose Amazon Chime
I believe Amazon Chime is better, easier to use, and had better quality video/audio
Chose Amazon Chime
AWS Chime is very comparable to Zoom meeting. Monthly costs are usually cheaper but are variable and can fluctuate. Reporting on AWS Chime is great but needs some additional back-end set-up that could be cumbersome. Overall... ease, quality, look and set-up is very easy. …
Chose Amazon Chime
I have used GoToMeeting, which is a major competitor to Amazon Chime, and I can confidently say that GoToMeeting is literally ten times better. We rarely have any of the issues with GoToMeeting that we do with Amazon Chime. I highly recommend GoToMeeting over Amazon Chime …
Chose Amazon Chime
High quality of audio and video, and great meeting experiences.

Chose Amazon Chime
Amazon Chime is great for call and video quality. It's pretty comparable to Zoom both in cost and capabilities. It's definitely superior to UberConference and Join.Me, both of which are not particularly reliable. I have had call quality and the screen shares freeze up. …
Chose Amazon Chime
Chime and Biba are interchangeable to me, both accomplish the same task. We have transitioned to Chime as it was created by Amazon and we support Amazon, so it was an easy decision for us. I do enjoy Chime more as it just seems to work effortlessly. I would recommend it to all.
Lifesize Video Conferencing

Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
While it is not the most resourceful, it meets our needs and comes at a cost that our business can afford. Why pay more? That's why we have Lifesize Video Conferencing.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
Lifesize Video Conferencing had a comparable video picture to Polycom, but it appeared to require for more bandwidth. As if it wasn't being compressed at all. But the major factor for us was that Lifesize Video Conferencing (at least at the time) was not able to integrate with …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
Lifesize Video Conferencing is providing all major features at a reasonable cost as compared to other competitors. The audio and video qualities on offer are also comparable and sometimes superior w. r. t. other players in market. There are no issues in hardware/software …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
When I compare with other products Lifesize wins definitely for video quality.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
There is no doubt Skype is the first video calling program that I started using first in my life. It was working good but there are some aspects where Lifesize [Video Conferencing] works better than Skype because it has introduced new features for scheduling meetings and …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
The cost of Lifesize Video Conferencing is very affordable compared to other applications on the market. The audio and video quality is not as consistent as a ZOOM, Webex or Doxy.me. We have experienced the video shaking, the audio delays or dropping sporadically. We were …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
The presence of the camera and microphone in all the meeting rooms we have is amazing. The video and audio quality are great and you really feel as if you were in-person speaking. We love to use Lifesize and are very used to make video calls every day at all times.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
Cisco Webex required us to have webcams on all users, whereas Lifesize can utilize a single device (camera) that multiple employees can use at once. I also think that the video quality on the Lifesize camera is exceptional. The meeting software is relatively easy to use and is …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
For the TOC, I would say Lifsize has been good. We do use a combination of Lifesize and Polycom endpoints. Polycom does have more capabilities but at a higher cost.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
As per my knowledge, Lifesize Video Conferencing is the only OEM that provides hardware, video conferencing software, integration of both hardware & software as a one-stop-shop for a variety of hardware devices, & a number of software plans. [We are interested in] 4 k; lifesize …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
When compared to Zoom, one of the massive benefits that Lifesize brings is total peace of mind with security. Call encryption is part of the core in Lifesize and not an optional feature as in Zoom. I don't know about you, but every conversation can contain private and …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
We couldn't move away from it fast enough. I don't want to recommend the platform that we went to, as I'm not here to promote. Rather, I'm compelled to explain to people just how bad my experience was with Lifesize and make sure that people know what they are in for.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
Security is important so we use both depending on what is required. The low bandwidth has an advantage for multiple users and the locations can mute the conversation to talk with themselves in Lifesize. Zoom has controls for the moderator and not the individual.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
This video conferencing has been chosen by the company service desk. I am not sure how they made the choice and selected LifeSize from across all the companies providing similar solutions. I have not asked them for the reason they chose this product over others.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
We liked the LifeSize audio and video equipment. Its proprietary but the quality of the hardware (such as the lens for the camera) is very high end. This makes for clear image transmission and high video quality. It allows for big conference\meeting room setups without …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
Lifesize is a combined hardware/software solution that provides rock-solid and high-fidelity communications. It really shines in larger organizations that have dedicated conference facilities and the staff to maintain those properly. The quality is unmatched, and I have never …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
I consider Webex, GoToMeeting, and Zoom to be in a different category since they focus more on the screen share element and video is secondary. With Lifesize Video Conferencing, that is reversed.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
Lifesize is much less expensive, both in terms of the purchase price as well as in terms of the total maintenance costs. Setup, implementation, and administration are all much easier with Lifesize than with the Polycom units. Updates are simple to install, and the software is …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
We only implemented the Lifesize video conferencing system because a bullheaded C level executive demanded it. I recommended against it throughout the entire process, as it is a poor implementation of all the technology it uses.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
Users who are familiar with Skype but are looking for more robust features will absolutely love Lifesize! You get all of the ease of Skype paired with all of the features of a high-end video conference system in one easy-to-use package. A big factor that sets Lifesize apart is …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
Zoom doesn't connect a meeting room full of people to others, it only connects individual users.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
It doesn't. If I have to choose a new system again I would choose Zoom over Lifesize with no doubt, actually, I don't think I will never recommend lifesize. Again, I think it is super expensive in comparison to other products and doesn't offer better quality or better features …
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
Better audio and video than WebEx. Easier user interface.
Chose Lifesize Video Conferencing
Zoom was very cumbersome to use and it was difficult to manage the recordings. Lifesize offers the ability to easily conference with other Lifesize units as well as individuals on their personal computers, you can switch presenters from one to another swiftly, and there's no …

Great tool which can be used for collaborating and sharing screens. It helps in integrating with calendar effortlessly and send invitations for the meeting. Sometimes it takes time to load the application on your device and is not compatible with all browsers. It has different options of muting and sharing screen during presenting.

I think there's much better options out there. In a small setting, they might be suitable but I don't believe they scale very well in any medium-large size businesses. We wanted to take advantage of things like a Microsoft Exchange calendar, a "Join Now" button and integrating with Teams. These are all things that our company made a sizeable investment on and in order to take things to the next level, we had to move on from Lifesize Video Conferencing.

  • The touchpad makes it extremely easy to join or start conference calls with a single pushbutton.
  • The Lifesize solution is affordable and has been extremely reliable for our video conference calls.
  • Camera quality is great and provides clear video for our organization.

Cons
  • I'd like to see more sentiment analysis around the conversation between the salesperson and the prospect. This would make great for coaching opportunities after the call to make our sales reps better.
  • In a few instances, members of our sales team had issues with sharing call recording links with their prospects. Our product team came to the conclusion it was coming from the Amazon Chime end.

  • International users have experienced spotty/jittery sound and video.
  • Connecting to meetings that are on different conferencing services is very clunky and not end user friendly.
  • Being able to remote control the camera from a mobile device would be nice. If a change is needed during a meeting, the menu is pretty large and draws plenty of attention and distracts the audience.

I have a lot of Lifesize hardware and I do like Cloud but I am always watching the market for a company that will finally nail this space. I feel like Lifesize has a solid head start but I hope they can create a vision for the marketplace and execute in a meaningful way.

Overall experience with Lifesize Video Conferencing has been great. While it serves it's basic purpose of allowing smooth video/audio meetings of people located at different places with option of screen sharing/chatting/ recording, what add to it's pros are it's accessibility from various platforms, flexibility to switch to a listen only mode in case of network issues and ease of operation.

Since we are an educational institution we not only have scheduled classes which must be available, but we have staff members in a variety of areas ranging from recruiting and admissions to advancement and the President's office who need to connect with students, alumni and other interest groups, often at odd hours. Lifesize is an amazing platform for VC. However, it is a costly solution for any scaling startup. However, implementation and user acceptability was fairly easy and worth the additional spend. Quality has always been on point and support has always taken care of us. Our account manager also ensured a seamless transition process for Google Hangouts. Will go with this solution again at any other organization.

They were very supportive in answering all of our questions when we had problems. Their in-person calls but their support site also had a full set of information that can answer a good portion of your questions before you have to pick up the phone. But when you, you will get good service.

Most of the front-line call takers are only as knowledgeable enough to tell you to reboot or reset. If your issue is more complicated than that, it will need to be escalated. On the other hand - most of our problems have been on our network side. The techs are ALWAYS super nice and try to be as helpful as possible. They do care about fixing the problem.

Sensus was really helpful in the initial setup and training of our technical Support Team. Sensus gave us training on site so that it would be our own equipment that was set up. Then the in house tech team took over to train other users who would be using the system. When needed the Sensus and Lifesize tech support were really helpful in trouble shooting or guiding us through any difficulty.

I gave this rating because Lifesize's website offers multiple quality videos that shows you exactly how the software works. The videos are divided into different categories which makes searching for a video fairly simple! Return on Investment
  • Amazon Chime has been an incredibly cost effective way to add video and conference line services (with screen sharing) to our day to day operations because we have an account for free for being Vonage customers.
  • A pro account only costs $15 a month, and you only need one pro account for a small office. If others in your organization need to join, all you need is a basic account to join. You need a pro account in order to launch and administer meetings.

  • First the cost of licensing was significantly lower than other applications. We were able to experience an almost immediate return on investment now having the ability to bill the health plans for Virtual Visits.
  • Again, the lower cost of licensing allowed us to provide more users within the company with license. I am unable to share the specifics of our contract with Lifesize Video Conferencing. What I can say is the price made it easy for us to subscribe to Lifesize.
