While App Annie is extremely robust and pulls in data from acquisition channels, app stores, and elsewhere, it can be quite overwhelming at times. If you are looking for more simple and just keyword positioning then definitely look at AppFollow.
Appsflyer is generally a more comprehensive and robust platform offering advanced analytics, detailed attribution, and strong fraud prevention features compared to its competition in the market. Also, Appsflyer is a pretty old and well-known name in the market.
To summarize, AppsFlyer has better end-to-end data processing and performance tracking. It also provides us with better integration for clients and their agencies for its use. We also found the possibility to work with SKAN attribution and retargeting campaigns which were not …
AppsFlyer places attribution as its #1 priority vs. a secondary priority for other companies such as Branch. The pricing structure of AppsFlyer is also very reasonable compared with other attribution solutions. Additionally, AppsFlyer's global footprint allowed us to launch …
We preferred finding a third party that integrated with both Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics to provide flexibility in tools we chose to tracking our mobile apps. AppsFlyer also had the most affordable and transparent pricing than others we evaluated.
AppsFlyer is by far the best one because of ease of use. They have great cost aggregation, are cheap to use, and have strong technical expertise and a good customer success team. Their solution is sophisticated enough, has great reporting views, and is a sound, technically …
It was priced well with great support so it was a no brainer for us to go with AppsfFyer. Also, Appsflyer was integrated with everyone we wanted to use where the competition was not. This was the major deciding factor and also the price point is very startup-friendly for indie …
AppsFlyer has the best fraud identifications against other attribution platforms out there. The dashboard layouts are easily one of the easiest ones to use.
Adjust is the best, followed by AppsFlyer. The rest are a joke and should be ashamed of themselves for putting out products that don't give marketers the insights they need to facilitate growth or identify fraud.
It's a one-stop solution for all our problems. Now we can focus on growing our apps and business. We are able to scale our business by managing our team bandwidth. The advance features like real-time data, and full-featured raw data reports are very helpful and time-saving. It …
Again, AppsFlyer has an edge over others because of its 1. easy to use interface 2. brilliantly researched modules 3. the kind of support they provide in term of knowledge base records and human support both 4. innovations and new module launches they come up with to keep you …
I personally recommend AppsFlyer over the other tracking software because it's easy to use and we can get all necessary details at one click. And especially the Protect360 feature is the best fraud tracking module that I have ever seen.
In my previous company I tested both Adjust and Branch, but always came back to AppsFlyer. It's easy to use, great support, very visual (which I prefer over Adjust and such) and the various tools such as 360 and audiences that are top notch.
We use AppFollow only for customer service, but it has a lot of features that would be great for the marketing and development team. A good bit of the features we do not use, as there is simply not a use case for it. The best feature that we get from AppFollow is the ability to import Apple reviews into Zendesk for agents to respond to. This has been a great time saver for us.
Appsflyer is excellent for running numerous campaigns across many clients and keeping track of real-time performance. Attribution is top-notch and the platform is up to date with the innovations in the area while keeping its effective & trustworthy information. Exporting reports could be a bit more friendly but all in all, a truly great MMP.
One of AppFollow's core features is their keyword rankings. With both our Android and iOS app I'm able to view the keyword and position of our app for that keyword. I'm also able to toggle the dates and see the history positioning. Not only is this available for US app stores but global app stores. This is extremely helpful when A/B testing.
Another key feature to AppFollow is their integrations. Being able to integrate AppFollow with Slack has been extremely helpful. With this integration, we are able to see reviews in real-time and respond to them right from Slack.
We don't check AppFollow every day. With that said, it's important for us to get daily and weekly reports from AppFollow about our ASO performance. You can easily check which reports you would like, how often, and where to in a matter of seconds.
Appsflyer does deep linking well. It was reliable and works better than any past partner we've used. We no longer invest time and resources in fielding internal flags about broken links.
Appsflyer does particularly well at telling the story on industry landscape, identifying areas of opportunity for our brand to grow based on the depth and breadth of their experience in mobile.
The Appsflyer team offers best in class customer service. The account managers are knowledgeable, responsive, bright, invested and a pleasure to work with.
The UI can be used by anyone with a little understanding of the business. However, may features are somehow hidden and the UI is a bit confusing for beginners. It's not so easy to know where each feature is. It is also not easy to figure out how certain values are calculated.
Overall support is good, fast to respond and helps us with both tool related queries as well as publisher related escalations when it comes to fraud or attribution, as they step in and help justify on our behalf. They have a very small team though in India, it's time for them to scale up the team probably and assign exclusive support folks to large clients.
While App Annie is extremely robust and pulls in data from acquisition channels, app stores, and elsewhere, it can be quite overwhelming at times. If you are looking for more simple and just keyword positioning then definitely look at AppFollow. Apart from the two platforms themselves, I've had numerous contact experiences with both AppFollow and App Annie. The winner is definitely AppFollow with a less aggressive approach and a higher willingness to go above and beyond to make sure all questions are answered. With App Annie I was bombarded with a ton of sleazy, sales emails to purchase their product.
