Looked at our current software provider's timekeeping application, prior to purchasing ExakTime. Ease of use and time capture is what sold me on ExakTime.
This is the first product like this that we've used. We've been using ExakTime for several years now, and I can't imagine going back to manual entry! I also wouldn't think there's any comparable product on the market that allows as much customization or would be as user …
before the ExakTime mobile app everything was done via email or hard copy papers. This app was the first one that company attempted to implement and went off without a hitch. The app was so easy to use there was no need to search the market for another time tracking software.
Although Asana works well for offices that focus primarily on office management, it would not be a user-friendly tool for those who are on job sites and traveling to different locations on a daily basis.
They were my third choice because they would work with QB. Love the reminder to clock in and out that woould be usefull. Open the Time Clock window in the app.Select a job or task, Select Clock In, Select Clock Out when you’re done for the day. I did not like the layout.
NEOGOV and GOSKILLS offers relevant preloaded courses that are of interest to our employees. The reporting ability is also more user friendly and the appearance of both platforms is better.
I used a software called Kronos, but it was actually for clocking in a warehouse where everyone is stationary. ExakTime is better suited for my particular field because we have multiple locations. I have also used ADP, but I prefer ExakTime because it is bundled with all the …
Busy Busy did not track equipment hours. ExakTime tracks them, but the reporting is challenging when trying to combine labor hours and equipment hours in the same report.
Acoro is really great and stacks well in the industry. There really isn't any other ATS system out there that works with contractors and other different industries which makes it tailored really well into the field. It centralizes around different scopes that employees and …
ExakTime provides a great solution to timekeeping especially with the mobile app. The conference calls we had prior to purchase were constructive and very informative. ExakTime's sales team was more than willing to answer our questions. Our biggest concern was how were we …
iSqFt is a solid competitor in the bidding/estimating platform world but as a user, Building Connected is the front runner. iSqFt lacks on the collaboration side and isn't as easy to use and access as its competitors. Building Connected is used by most of our clients so it's …
PlanHub and iSqFt are comparable to eachother. I do believe iSqFt has a slightly better user interface. I have used both for many years and do not particularly prefer one over the other. They both seem to have the same features and information that allow me to easily review and …
I'd say that iSqFt is a leader in the industry when compared to its competitors. It has all of the same capabilities and is perfect for any size project. I still use other software, but iSqFt is my usual go-to. I would recommend it to anyone in the construction industry.
I have been invited to view projects on other platforms such as Procore and have been required to enter a login for certain jobs. However, I can't find any where to register for the site. This may be something I've overlooked but the fact that I can't find it right away made …
For my industry, ExakTime is incredible. The geo fencing, and clock-in locations and job types works incredibly well. I am likely to recommend because I have and I do recommend it constantly to others in my industry. I would say the only reason more people are not trying is it, is because they are of an older generation and using a virtual program can be daunting.
I have noticed that many projects listed on iSqFt do not have all of the project details required to accurately bid a project. It would be nice if they had a vetting process that would required customers to upload certain documents and confirm they have certain information beofre placing the job out to bid through their platform.
Even with a "Limited Access" free account, you are able to see all the necessary files. When using it to just look at a job and download documents, this is all you should need. With more access you can see more projects that are out to bid but as a sales engineer for a manufacturer, I receive the bid requests from my contractors who are bidding there is no need to upgrade my access level.
Documents are very easy to download into a .zip file and you can pick and choose which documents you want to download for specific trades. Plus there is a specific tab for Addenda so you don't have to search through the Documents tab. The tabs also show the amount of files in each tab so you can easily stay up to date on current documents.
The Dashboard of each job shows the project general contractor and for subcontractors, responding to a bid request is as easy as clicking a button to indicate if you will bud or will not bid. This dashboard also shows location and the project description which are particularly helpful for a manufacturers rep/sales engineer that may not see the project description otherwise.
iSqFt has one major flaw that makes it a pain to use. I go there to get plans and specs. You think a company that sends you plans and specs would have a faster download speed, it takes forever to get the plans and specs. I usually find a way around iSqFt to get the plans and specs.
I don't have any major problems with Exaktime so I do not see a reason to switch to something else. All the bugs and learning curves have been worked out so move to another company will take too much time of which we do not have. I have become an Exaktime expert and don't trust another software that guarantees geofencing timekeeping.
ExakTime is very intuitive and easy to use in some cases. From an ExakTime Mobile perspective, it is very simple and easy to use. The Clock In/Clock Out screen is intuitive and easy to learn. Similarly, the ExakTime Connect side is very smooth and simple for Time Card Detail viewing and Report usage, but it is sadly lacking in User Experience in Scheduling.
I have had problems outside of normal business hours and I get a return phone call from them pretty quickly. There has only been I think 1 instance that I waited for too long to be able to fix my situation.
I have never had a problem with support from the iSqFt team. They are continually reaching out with tips and tricks to make using their software easier. Anytime I've had a problem - which is seldom - they have been extremely prompt with their response on how to fix it.
Gave a notice to all employees to come to work 15 min early on the day planned to implement the program. I had Spanish and English signs on how to down load the program and log in I showed them ALL how to log in and out and explained that they are responsible for reporting accurate time. I had them all sign a policy that lunch breaks were mandatory for all employees at least 30 min per day. This ensures safety on the roofs. We had a few people who did not have passwords to the app store and we had a few problems with android phones but most of them were on their way quickly. Most not happy about the change but I hope they see the benefit of it now.
This is the first product like this that we've used. We've been using ExakTime for several years now, and I can't imagine going back to manual entry! I also wouldn't think there's any comparable product on the market that allows as much customization or would be as user friendly as ExakTime
iSqFt is a solid competitor in the bidding/estimating platform world but as a user, Building Connected is the front runner. iSqFt lacks on the collaboration side and isn't as easy to use and access as its competitors. Building Connected is used by most of our clients so it's easier to use because there is more information in one place.
Improved payroll accuracy and employee time breakdown by type of work, greatly reducing the manual data tracking and time spent by employees on such tracking. More time for actual work!
Employees can interact via field notes while on the job, providing revisions to data entered if appropriate. Improves administrator efficiency as well.
Reports significantly improve time tracking, positively effecting job costing recordkeeping and evaluation.
