We're currently evaluating Nicelable and are in the process of replacing Bartender with Nicelable. Cost is similar for our needs level and Nicelable has a modern UI and is much more user-friendly. We are having to rework our automation routines but we're seeing a higher …
We selected BarTender for the amount of things that it can do. The options that you can configure in the software just make it super flexible. It will easily grow with the business. It also enables you to have built in DR across all the sites when it is up and running properly. …
BarTender is the easiest label designer I have used. There are so many features within the program that I love learning and trying new things to discover aspects of the software I didn’t know existed.
We do use Zebra label designer, a free product, in circumstances where we don’t need a complicated label, such as no serialization, no connection to a dynamic database, etc. If we were to pull those instances into BarTender, we would need more licenses, which are expensive
InFlow stacks up quite better wrt to their competitors. 1. Better reach in industries and depth of features - esp custom reporting. 2. Free trial that is very extensive and helps orgs make quick decisions.
I haven’t used any other inventory management system before using inFlow Inventory, I feel very lucky to have found a software that does what I need it to do without the need to try any other software prior. It meets my eCommerce small business needs and I’m very satisfied with …
We used inFlow to manage our retail outlet. We must say it handled it pretty well. Our employees were very happy using it, and they learned it pretty quickly.
We have been using the standalone version of inFlow for many years. It is quite easy to use, with great support staff via their live chat on the inFlow website while the maintenance plan is active. Though sadly technical support over the phone isn't offered.
Licensing: argggh! Their draconian licensing model can stop you in your tracks if you’re not careful. It’s per printer, not seat, so errant print jobs can exceed your licenses. Be careful!
Interaction with the cloud: we recently moved to Box and have yet to figure out a way to utilize Print Station with our cloud database. If there’s a way to do it, it’s not well documented.
Support: if you’re not paying for premium support, expect an email response within 24 hours. Telephone support is good, but we’ve sometimes had to leave a message and wait...
Very pricey, you have to pay for the mobile version.
The integration to make labels is very complicated for my fellow colleagues. Sometimes it doesn't log in easily, and we've had to purchase quite a few licenses when we first started up with inFlow because it cannot be used on more than one PC at a time. Now that years have passed and we don't need so many concurrent users, we are sadly stuck with all these extra users that we paid extra for, for no reason.
We also are looking for reasons to switch to another company, as inFlow does not offer much support after the maintenance period has ended and we've had to constantly pay extra to renew a maintenance plan to receive support.
I often have to try to troubleshoot printing issues for other team members, but I have never reached out to a BarTender support network. I’ve always just tinkered within the app to figure it out.
We're currently evaluating Nicelable and are in the process of replacing Bartender with Nicelable. Cost is similar for our needs level and Nicelable has a modern UI and is much more user-friendly. We are having to rework our automation routines but we're seeing a higher upside with lower IT involvement that we think will give us an acceptable ROI.
