botkeeper vs. H2O.ai

if you run a small business that has gotten large enough for accounting to become a headache on a weekly or monthly basis, I would consider botkeeper as a solution. they have packages that scale up as your business continues to grow. Also, if you are collecting sales tax and managing that yourself, along with your year-end reporting for taxes, botkeeper is a lifesaver.

Use H2O.ai whenever you need easy to use tool, when you must be cost efficient (you can not charge the client extra money for software licenses used), need a tool with lots of algorithms that are normally used in data analytics, or need to work on one machine (it is either not allowed to move data to cloud storage or simply not necessary to connect to Hadoop, etc.). Also, you can call H2O directly from Python which makes analysis more efficient.

• Potential and capabilities for revenue recognition are not up to a high standard, which is a basic ask.
• The exhaustive analysis is not possible with just Botkeeper, one needs to integrate with some other third-party service provider, and that's something that is not considered good.
• Analytical outputs in terms of charts and graphs need to be more adaptive as only a few configurations are provided and the rest seems to be pulled from the provided one, which imparts an overhead.
• Botkeeper claims best probability and statistics calculations but sometimes standard deviation shows it way away from acceptance criteria.

• This is not really a drawback, but rather a warning - the Drivereless AI is not a replacement for a data scientist yet, and will not replace data scientists in the next decade neither. The Driverless AI feature delivers reliable results only if the analyst is sure about the meaning of input data. The data quality is usually a major issue and no tool can detect the meaning of data in the input. Data scientists are also required for business interpretation of the findings. So be careful, and do not rely on this feature without a good understanding of what it really does in each step.

Botkeeper is quite new to accounting solutions. The tech base is quite new and cutting edge. Service support is quite fast and good. Integration support is open to another third party to enhance in all possible ways. Eliminates overhead of hiring permanent resident accountants. Great user experience and well-optimized tools.

I have used Knime, RapidMiner, and Weka before I heard about H2O, but amongst all I really liked H2O. However, nowadays Googles AutoML and AWS SageMaker AutoML platform are really competitive, but more costly than H2O.
