Botkeeper is quite new to accounting solutions. The tech base is quite new and cutting edge. Service support is quite fast and good. Integration support is open to another third party to enhance in all possible ways. Eliminates overhead of hiring permanent resident …
Botkeeper has the automation aspect nailed down. Other companies do not have this process taken care of yet. On top of that, we trust in botkeeper and believe they will be around for the long run.
Botkeeper offers a similar service to that of pilot, however, for the price that we pay, we get a lot more services like accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as bill payment through bill.com. I'm also pretty sure that scalefactor is no longer running and operating. …
We evaluated Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite and CCH Axcess against CCH Prosystem fx and found that CCH Prosystem fx edged out Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite and CCH Axcess. Thompson Reuters had many of the features, but came in slightly short in regards to forms …
We use Thomson Reuters suite for payroll purposes but they do offer the same services as Wolters Kluwer does. I have heard from companies that do use Thomson Reuters tax and they are happy with it. As mentioned, I was not present at this firm when CCH was purchased so I am …
Intacct is what we use for data input and management. It is on cloud like CCH ProSytem fx is. We can use it anywhere, away on a conference, work from home, work offsite, as long as we have a laptop and internet. There is nothing to install on your computer, you just need the …
if you run a small business that has gotten large enough for accounting to become a headache on a weekly or monthly basis, I would consider botkeeper as a solution. they have packages that scale up as your business continues to grow. Also, if you are collecting sales tax and managing that yourself, along with your year-end reporting for taxes, botkeeper is a lifesaver.
Wolters Kluwer CCH ProSystem fx is best suited for more experienced tax professionals that typically prepare more complicated individual returns (1040). It is also well suited for firms that prepare corporate, partnerships, estate/trusts, and other more detailed returns that require K-1's. The application is good for small and large teams due to the workflow that keeps everyone on the same page. For smaller firms that prepare simple returns, there are other products in the market to fulfill those needs.
Potential and capabilities for revenue recognition are not up to a high standard, which is a basic ask.
The exhaustive analysis is not possible with just Botkeeper, one needs to integrate with some other third-party service provider, and that's something that is not considered good.
Analytical outputs in terms of charts and graphs need to be more adaptive as only a few configurations are provided and the rest seems to be pulled from the provided one, which imparts an overhead.
Botkeeper claims best probability and statistics calculations but sometimes standard deviation shows it way away from acceptance criteria.
Botkeeper is quite new to accounting solutions. The tech base is quite new and cutting edge. Service support is quite fast and good. Integration support is open to another third party to enhance in all possible ways. Eliminates overhead of hiring permanent resident accountants. Great user experience and well-optimized tools.
We use Thomson Reuters suite for payroll purposes but they do offer the same services as Wolters Kluwer does. I have heard from companies that do use Thomson Reuters tax and they are happy with it. As mentioned, I was not present at this firm when CCH was purchased so I am not sure if any comparisons were done between the two
