The Shift browser merges web apps into a single window, streamlining work online and providing access to thousands of apps without leaving the browser.
We'll Simply put, we are still using Brave exclusively, so unless we're idiots, which we're not, Brave does a much better job than those other 5. We've also tried using Opera which isn't in the list and same thing, it didn't deliver the performance or features that we needed so …
I used to use a similar product called Station. In all honesty, Station was better but was discontinued. Shift is the nearest equivalent and works just as well. Station was free, Shift is an annual payment so I have peace of mind it's more likely to be around for the long term.
While I have not looked into other apps, I have considered (and do use, to some extent), Google Profiles. In my opinion, Shift is much preferable to Google Profiles and works much better!
Microsoft 365 is great in terms of the features of each program, but switching between the programs isn't quick. Shift allows me to manage my email accounts and my Google Drives, as well as create documents, spreadsheets, and slides using Google's tools all within the same …
I also use Mailplane but it's not on the list. Shift just works and works really well. I dont like apps that try to be something that it's not, adding silly features just because. With Shift I load the app and I can see all the emails and other apps I need to get my work done.
EasyMail had issues for me. It worked a lot like the browser version of Gmail and lacked some of the features Shift provides. I haven't used it in a while, but when I was using it, I often had difficulty printing and saving emails and attachments. Mailbird is very good, but …
Shift stood out because it’s like having multiple of the other apps all rolled into one. It handles email better than most others multi-account switching better than Outlook, and app organization better than Station. If you’re managing multiple email accounts and communication …
You can not even compare Shift to those two. Those two UI are very difficult to navigate, the softwares also lag compared to Shift. They also lack a lot of features that Shift has, like Chrome Extensions. Those other two only offer minimal extensions where you can get any …
As a team, we use many different apps to try and create easy, clean workspaces. However, nothing compares to Shift. It is 100% in a league of its own, and we have never encountered anything like it before. Its user interface and abilities are far greater than those of the other …
Shift offers me better overall email and productivity tool integration. The browser-based environment is intuitive. Outstanding integration with Google Workspace tools. Excellent overall UX/UI. Setup is fast and secure via SSO login. Overall a great value. The company delivers …
I wouldn't say I liked the user experience and the difficulty in configuration. I generally like to keep my UX and UI as consistent as possible, and Shift does that. Moreover, I wanted to save all my Gmail labels and have their catalog precisely as on the Gmail website. …
Shift outshines Rambox and Wavebox with its sleek, intuitive interface and seamless handling of multiple accounts. While Rambox offers a similar app integration model, its interface feels less refined and user-friendly. Wavebox is highly customisable but can be overwhelming and …
I use some google services that work better with chrome, other than that, everything seams to work well on Brave. From access to cloud storage, computing, databases, all by keeping my privacy and free from malware, I guess Brave works properly in most cases and scenarios, which is very reassuring for a company like mine.
I believe that Shift is suitable for everyone, even those with only one email account. Just being able to group email, along with Messenger, WhatsApp, and other apps, together is, in itself, a productivity hack. I have already recommended it to some of my other business owner friends.

I'm very happy with it's usage, specially while working with multiple websites at the same time without huge RAM consumption (this is a severe problem in several other browsers).
Setting up Shift is very simple and highly intuitive, making it easy to use. Once you set up the accounts and program integrations, you can easily click on precisely what you need, requiring barely any thought or effort. It feels truly seamless and straightforward to use. I have no issues with use, and I use it every day.
Its basically been great. In 3 years I had one issue of repeated crashes which was fixed with a version change and an issue where slack wouldn't load after a slack update but that fixed within a few weeks
Its pretty performant on my GPU based laptop as it can use the hardware to accelerate processing. However it is memory hungry. If I had a normal amount of RAM on my laptop I wouldn't imagine it would be a little slower
I have only had to use their support a couple of times, but was able to get an answer and things resolved within a couple of hours. There was no issue with contacting them, received responses and updates in a timely manner and they were able to resolve the small issues we had. It was a pleasure to work with them
I was completely satisfied with the implementation of Shift, rating it a 10. The process was straightforward and required minimal effort to get started. Key insights include the importance of pre-configuring the app with essential tools and accounts for the team to ensure a smooth transition. Shift’s intuitive setup and integration process allowed us to onboard quickly without disrupting workflows. Additionally, its user-friendly design made it easy for team members to adapt without extensive training.
We'll Simply put, we are still using Brave exclusively, so unless we're idiots, which we're not, Brave does a much better job than those other 5. We've also tried using Opera which isn't in the list and same thing, it didn't deliver the performance or features that we needed so back to Brave it was. What's unusual to us is that Brave is built on the Chromium platform, so you'd think ChromeOS would be better, but it's not.
I came from using a similar app called MailPlane, some of you older users might remember this app. It had a similar function to connect Gmail accounts so that I could use Gmail like a regular app. This app reached end of life and the developers no longer decided to keep the app active. I was then back into the market in search of a comparable app and my searched led me to fine Shift. I'm absolutely glad I did! 4 years later and I'm still using Shift. It was 2021 when MailPlane stopped selling licenses. If I remember correctly I switched to Shift around this time or possible before. All I know is I switched and never looked back and was extremely happy to find Shift.
As a normal user of Brave browser, I can share my experience in terms of personal benefits rather than business objectives. Brave has positively impacted my online experience by prioritizing privacy and providing the option to earn rewards for viewing privacy-respecting ads. The built-in ad-blocking and privacy features have enhanced my online privacy and reduced unwanted tracking. Additionally, the opportunity to earn rewards through the Brave Rewards program adds an extra incentive for using the browser.
