Breezy is an applicant tracking system that aims to be fun-to-use. The vendor says its goal is to turns organization's messy hiring hacks into a pain-free process candidates love. The vendor believes hiring doesn't have to be messy. According to the vendor, Breezy customers can say, "Sayonara!" to the stacks of resumes cluttering up their workspace and let Breezy help them find their next A-player. With Breezy, users can automate time-sucking hiring tasks with tools like talent search,…

Out of all of the applicant tracking systems I have used, Breezy HR is the most basic that I have experienced. The capabilities within other ATS platforms far outperform what you can get from Breezy HR.
No other app works as well and seamlessly as Breezy. They offer great value for the price, especially for small-medium businesses. It has similar features as the bigwigs like Workday and Success factors at a fraction of the cost.
Breezy HR just has a lot more features that are relevant to our requirements and helps streamline the hiring process immensely. Other software have been buggy and [have] issues with managing the talent pool which has caused [a] lot of issues including duplication and resume …
I did not choose Breezy and it's the most frustrating ATS I've used in my 20+ year career. It would be different if they were willing to work on making their software better, but they become very defensive when you tell them there's something wrong with it. I would rather have …
The decider for us was that we were able to use the tool and try it out for free. Having the team look at it and get a hands-on feel for it really made the decision easy for us. It also had more features in it than the other products we looked at. It felt like a more complete …
We did several trials with other programs, including Workable. Ultimately, the user friendliness of the platform and the customer service was what set them ahead. Some platforms we trialed were twice the cost, so getting the full program and all the features at what seemed to …
I liked that Breezy HR had an option to try it out before we committed. I also preferred the User interface of Breezy HR to other options we looked into. The pricing was very attractive as well. Plus it included more features than most competitors we demo-ed did.
It's hard to compare Breezy to other software because it's inexpensive and feature-rich. It doesn't stack up to Bamboo HR in terms of features because Bamboo HR is significantly more expensive. The only other competitor we evaluated was Freshteam, and Breezy outperformed it in …
We weren't using any other software before Breezy HR but did also consider Pipedrive. And while Pipedrive worked well, it wasn't suited for our needs. Pipedrive is more oriented towards sales and doesn't lend itself to the hiring process. Breezy HR covered all the needs we were …
I selected Breezy HR over Workable simply because it does the same thing but it is a better price. Workable initially had better looking software, but I feel like Breezy has really worked to close the gap. Workable also didn't have the Kanban board when I tested them awhile …
We previously used SmartRecruiters who used to have a free or very affordable tier. They then made the business decision to drastically raise the bar on their lowest paid tier, at which point I looked for an alternative and quickly ran across Breezy on Product Hunt. For our …
We evaluated no one else, I can not really explain how they stack up against other companies. In my mind that is not the issue, I am happy with iApplicants so I am not looking into other companies. I really did happen upon this company and love it, then purchase and since …
We didn't look any further. It was the right price, had all of the tools we were looking for, and was incredibly simple to launch. My search was a random act of frustration as I was dealing with recruiting for a position that had generated over 300 applicants and I stumbled …
I use iApplicants simply for the pricing. I would prefer a more robust product, but for the dollars, I'm paying currently, iApplicants gives me the best bang for my buck!
All the systems I have listed are major systems used my large staffing organizations. iApplicants is best suited to smaller organizations with less intensive needs. The price is also better suited. I chose iApplicants because it was a better match. When we expanded and opened …
I would say the overall capability with the iApplicant system is fairly similar to what other products can offer. Our recruitment goes in streaks where we can have several positions at once and then there are times when we have no recruitment at all. So we didn't want to spend …
We enjoy the user friendliness of iApplicant's as well as the cost aspect. It can be costly to join all the career boards out there and iApplicants helps do that work for you.
iApplicants has Awesome support. ADP is our current HR, Benefits and Payroll systems. It made since to consider adding in Recruitment tools. But in side-by-side comparison of cost and services, there was no contest. And the support by iApplicant team is one of the best I have …
I use both Taleo and Ultipro in my current role, but I really miss iApplicants. It just seemed far simpler and definitely streamlined the process much better!
I've tested several vendor ATS systems to find iApplicants, used several systems developed for prior employers and used Taleo. iApplicants, for the investment is definitely worth the cost.

Working with many employees at the same time would be the perfect scenario to let us test all the potential that the Breezy HR platform has to offer, since its organizational capacity is large enough to be able to organize and coordinate the attendance and absence information of many workers without losing track of the job. Reviewing documents where data is needed about each employee's behavior, including their daily attendance hours, tracking of all the absences they have taken since starting at the company, and comments about their potential, which would be excellent for reporting during promotional seasons. The management of many employee lists through database services, which thanks to the platform's adaptation to cover external service software operations such as Microsoft Excel, means that it is possible to import employee databases when moving information from a storage platform.
How many employees does your company have? I believe it is suitable for companies similar in size to mine or with fewer employees. I believe larger size companies should only use iApplicants if they hire employees in bulk. Meaning if they make simple hires it would be an excellent product for them. Because of the limited search capability, it may not be suitable for everyone.
Low-Cost: Compared to its enterprise-level alternatives, Breezy is incredibly inexpensive. There are very few cost-effective hiring softwares to choose from, and we were under the impression that we'd be spending thousands to get a system that helps us like Breezy does.
All in one solution: For small teams, you really only need Breezy to manage your hiring funnel.
Customer Support: I've chatted with customer support for everything from product troubleshooting to changing my billing structure, and they were very accommodating and resolved my issues quickly.
Job Board Integrations: Through Breezy, you can post to 40+ job boards (many that are totally free). We have found that we get a significant number of candidates from this with no additional money spent.
Slowness - there are times when the system takes a long time to think to retrieve data and I've also experienced times when the system has complete frozen.
Reporting - there are a lot of different reports that automatically come with the system. However, it's not always easy to find the reports that you're looking for as you need to click through multiple screens to get to the specific report that you are looking for.
This is simply because as we expanded our business to include a staffing division, our technical needs of a tracking system greatly increased because now we needed to also track job orders, time sheets and billing. Had we simply stayed a software development company, we would have stayed with iApplicants as it fulfilled our needs at that time.
It's very difficult to navigate. Most systems have a job management side and a candidate management side. Breezy only has a candidate management side. It never pulls our jobs to Indeed. The user interface is so challenging to navigate. It will remove vital parts of the screen if you expand a menu. It freezes constantly. It's a great idea, but it has so many software bugs. There is something wrong with this platform and nobody wants to find the bugs.
iApplicants is rare -- they offer both a great company (service, innovation, and ongoing development) with a product that really focuses on the needs of its users. It provides the basis for HR/legal reporting. It's easy to use, just logging in for the first time, so even my not-so-tech-savvy managers love it.
I've used this product consistently for 8 years now. In that time, I've seen ONE time that they had a technical glitch -- and THEY were all over it. The only reason I even knew about it was an email alert they sent out to all clients, explaining the issue. They also had it fixed the same day.
It works. It's easy for everyone I've shared it with -- even my not-so-tech-savvy staff. When I hired a coordinator to handle routine HR duties, this was a simple transition to hand off to someone else without a lot of training. Sometimes it's a little slow downloading documents (resumes) from the site, but that could be a combination of issues that may not be related to their product. At one time, it wasn't able to accommodate newer Word documents (.doc vs. .docx), but they fixed that, as well.
The customer support team is always very responsive, and they are genuinely interested in helping you solve your issue. If the issue is something they cannot solve or guide you through, they always send it to their tech team to fix from the back end. They are also very receptive when you send along ideas or suggestions.
Responses are always within 24 hours. They don't nickel and dime for everything we request. I like that they understand the request and we're not caught in a flurry of emails or failed attempts. Customizations, when needed by the vendor, have been at no charge. Most modifications can be made from my administrative panel. Everyone I've dealt with at iApplicants has been positive -- there seems to be a great sense of ownership across all staff there.
I thought the training was well structured and the demos well-paced. Topics are set up sequentially so one can watch each one and build on previous tutorials. However, they are broken down into segments so a user can hone in on just a specific area where help is needed and not waste time on other topics s/he may already know. I also like the fact that the tutorials are available on the home page of the admin login, so we don't have to hunt for topics in a huge "knowledgebase." It's easy to get a quick refresher when needed (or when ready to try out something a little more advanced) and apply it immediately.
We did several trials with other programs, including Workable. Ultimately, the user friendliness of the platform and the customer service was what set them ahead. Some platforms we trialed were twice the cost, so getting the full program and all the features at what seemed to be a high price (but only half of the competitors) was worth it
We evaluated no one else, I can not really explain how they stack up against other companies. In my mind that is not the issue, I am happy with iApplicants so I am not looking into other companies. I really did happen upon this company and love it, then purchase and since have used it for 6 years.
At the very basic level, it provides a place to post jobs and cross-post to free job boards. It could just be used by HR staff. However, it's more than just another place to post if one opts to utilize the full functionality-- it's an applicant management system that allows a user to pre-screen, organize, and collaborate on candidates with other users. They've added built-in background checks, reporting tools, community boards, integrated with larger/broader paid marketing opportunities, and affirmative action programs.
Breezy HR has cut our recruitment work load by about 30%. Breezy HR automates a lot of the process and cuts out a ton of manual work. This has allowed our recruiters to focus on the more important parts of the process thus resulting in higher quality hires.
Our recruiting team were all contractors costing between $30-$40/hour and the idea of new positions taking 3-4 hours to post to all of our required sites was extremely costly in addition to the cost per ad. The reduction in time to post one position a month paid for the system each month.
The previous system we used was manual and time consuming iApplicants allowed us to increase the speed of our lead conversion, reduce the time our requisitions were open and provide better customer service to our hiring managers through better applicant flow.
The ROI was tremendous, the reduction in time to fill open positions, reduce cost of contractor hours spent on administrative tasks and the ability to source candidates from previous applicants in our database made iApplicants the best investment for our team in 2013.
