We only went with Buidlium because we had the option to absorb the fees for rent payments. I wanted to provide $0 fees for Tenants to pay online. I'm glad we went with Buildium in the end but that was the only reason we moved forward with them was because we could customize …
Appfolio is my favorite software, and they are constantly making improvements. Buildium is great if you don’t have a ton of property but is not as manageable for advanced accounting and resident information tracking. There are workarounds, but they do need to work on their …
Buildium is generally slightly less expensive than Matt folio but continues to offer all the same benefits. I reviewed at folio on an annual basis to ensure that I am getting the best value for my money and year after year Buildium is showing me that I am. I’ve also noticed …
Buildium is far better than Appfolio, especially when comparing user features and friendliness. I have also used Propertyware which was a total mess and had frequent outages. I have found that Buildium's online and phone support has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
After using a competitive program, Dotloop exceeded above and beyond. Dotloop provides the best contract management program out there and really steals the show with its ease of use and support systems.
I personally feel that Dotloop is much more organized and easier to use. It feels more efficient to use and I have noticed the majority of the people I work with are more aware of Dotloop and trust it more.
We chose Dotloop because of how user friendly and customizable the software is. Our office is ever evolving and we needed a software that can grow with us as we advance and change the way we do things. Other software we tried was limited in this and didn't allow for minor …
For real estate transactions, Dotloop wins hands down. HelloSign is good for general document signing purposes, but nothing beats Dotloop and it's ease of use when it comes to real estate transactions with multiple parties involved. We started out with HelloSign but quickly …
We have really appreciated the recent integrations and steps to make the system easier to use. We utilize the task flow internally to track items needed as well as with our owners and tenants. It allows us to easily track the number of requests as well as the work history.
In Real Estate sales and property management, Dotloop will be your best friend. When you need clients or tenants to sign a lease or a contract, sending through dotloop is extremely easygoing and keeps everything organized pertaining to what you name the loop. I think I speak for my whole office when I say that without dotloop, our lives would be a disorderly mess, and we would find ourselves losing papers and becoming confused. Dotloop really helps our office like no other and has great support along the way!
I have used three property management softwares and know of others who have used additional softwares for managing properties. Buildium seems to be the best of all of them
Overall, the system is good and getting better; however, different roll outs have caused the system to regress. Their latest bank automation rollout was a disaster and continues to be an issue. Since the upgrade, I have not been able to sync our bank and Buildium (download transactions).
The Brokers I've connected with that used Dotloop in the past have also had the same issue I had. Their relationship with "thousands" of MLS listing services is not true. No one took responsibility for not communicating this early on. Everyone just pointed the finger at other departments and did absolutely nothing to alleviate the situation.
To add insult to injury, the system crashes during peak usage, making it near impossible to submit offers promptly. If requested I am more than open to provide the video showing both when the system crashes and the aforementioned issue
I have been able to get through to support immediately and they have been awesome in quickly resolving issues. More importantly, their communication when there is an issue which might take some time to resolve surfaces. Getting updates and resolution are critical.
Good support but onboard training could probably be a bit better as well as documentation. But we rarely need support as the software works flawlessly once you know how to use it. Very happy with support so far and I recommend the product.

I'm glad we went with Buildium in the end but that was the only reason we moved forward with them was because we could customize that option to match our business model.
