CallidusCloud LeadRocket (discontinued) vs. SAP Emarsys

Genius is well-suited for a smaller company looking to do one-off campaigns and not necessarily needing to track within a separate system. For example, the professional version of Salesforce is probably an ideal size for Genius. For a more enterprise/larger company I wouldn't suggest Genius be used.

Emarsys is highly recommended to every new or old organization for planned and well-managed marketing. If you want to reach the maximum market chains or to keep your data under highly confidential supervision or if you want many clients for your product or services, then Emarsys is the best option of all.

• I like the simplicity of the program. Each step is laid out and self-explanatory for creating an email campaign which makes the process extremely easy.
• I like how LeadFormix provides you with different reports to look at. The information is helpful to see how well your campaign is doing with whatever the target audience it is.
• I also love that I can store a number of different email campaigns that I've done in the past to use as a template for additional projects I have.

• The CRM functionality is a great tool for adding in targeted paid advertising campaigns to complement email campaigns.
• The ability to segment contacts and create custom lists allows us to send hyper-targeted email campaigns that deliver more efficient and effective results.

• UI was buggy, WYSIWYG editor barely worked and was a pain to deal with

• Amount of emails collected and being sent for smart insight are inaccurate
• I've rarely completed a task without some type of user interface error

• You have to pay extra for reporting in which the system cannot provide
• Lengthy contract with a high price tag

This is the program of choice for my company. There may be more effective email marketing services out there, but I also recognize that other teams in my company (who use the website lead tracking services) are most happy with LeadFormix. Furthermore, this program is more cost effective for us than others would be.

Very responsive. Some issues are on road map and can take time to resolve but not very often.

We selected CallidusCloud (Genius) based on the level of service for the price. It was more cost effective then Silver Pop which was another tool recommended to us. On the other hand, mail chimp did not provide the level of integration needed with our CRM - Salesforce. We need to be able to connect the response to an email campaign to the individual contact (student) record and determine the success of the campaign.

Emarsys stacks up well against other email marketing platforms I've used. It doesn't particularly excel in any area, so it isn't heads and shoulders above other options, but it's solid in all areas. If you're looking for a safe option without too much dynamic content or advanced customizations, Emarsys will meet your needs.
