Lexis is really just best suited if you don't have access to Westlaw. Overall, it it does get the job done, but the user experience is not the best. Searches could be better indexed and relevant information (e.g. cases, statutes, issues, past searches) aren't as easily accessible. If you aren't doing a ton of additional research it is good for blue book citations

Lexis Advance is way better in terms of usability and search features. The content is pretty much the same for both platforms except in Litigation where WestLaw is much stronger than Lexis.
