vAuto, a Cox Automotive company, offers Conquest, a dealer management system for new car auto dealerships.
CDK Drive is way better, but from my experience, the integration process was very long and very painful and we feel CDK Drive could've made that less painful and less lengthy. Once it is working the way it should, I am sure that we will love it. Right now though, every time …
CDK presents a much stronger, full integration of needed services than I found with AutoMate in particular, slightly better than Dealertrack, without the enormous additional cost incurred by using ERA-IGNITE. I have used nearly every DMS on the market and while I am still most …
It's been so long since I have used a competitive product to vAuto, it is no longer found on the list. If the other product were an Apple product, it would compare to an old iPod. Whereas, vAuto is a new iPhone.
I have used a number of other products that each do part of what vAuto Conquest does, but no other product seems to incorporate all the desired features into one, easy to use program the way Cox Automotive has done with this product. Given the enormous number of programs out …
CDK Drive is great at connecting all the team members in service/parts. We used to have a foreman who had to dispatch work to each technician, which is now done through CDK Drive. Technicians can get help with part requirements/needs through CDK. Before, each technician had to go back to the parts department and wait. CDK Drive is good at offering an option to record and send a video of what was found on a service diagnosis, this helps with transparency and trust.
vAuto Conquest has made both my GM and GSM's lives far easier. Being able to immediately see comps for like vehicles across your designates market with specific attention paid to optioning is crucial to providing both accurate trade appraisals as well as setting pricing for used inventory. It does an excellent job. It does not have much usage on the fixed ops side, other than the fact that increasing the below-line gross of sales lowers the needed fixed-ops absorption and makes it possible for there to be greater movement in sales pricing in general.
CDK Drive is great at integrating with other software programs or finding a solution to connect/gather information.
CDK Drive allows you to pull all kinds of information, lists for use outside of CDK (like pulling customer lists for marketing emails).
CDK Drive continually updates its systems and processes to keep up with modern technology (for example, implementing iPads/digital processes even for technicians).
Great job by everyone from the initial sales staff to the implementation team to the support staff. Always ready, willing and able to help out with any questions or issues that arise, even those from people who are simply not computer savvy and have had a hard time transitioning to a new product for everyday use.
Customer service has been a primary selling point of all the products we use through Cox Automotive. They have been great on every level, from implementation and setup to post-install support to technical support, they go far above and beyond the norms I have seen in other companies within this realm.
CDK Drive is way better, but from my experience, the integration process was very long and very painful and we feel CDK Drive could've made that less painful and less lengthy. Once it is working the way it should, I am sure that we will love it. Right now though, every time something else goes wrong, it builds on the frustration of the other 50 things that went wrong prior.
