Make vs. IFTTT

Integrating your CRM with Marketing Applications for data transmission and unity, GDPR compliance, syncing. Build a scenario for each specific (language or location) action. Managing certain actions and triggers based on links, some of the workflow solutions were not present in marketing tools and we need to create more complex process in Make to meet our needs. Lead and contact tracking from Social Media, updating our inventory based on user actions.

IFTTT is a great tool for people wishing to integrate different productivity tools, but who lack the resources and/or knowledge about programming these connections themselves. Anyone who uses at least email, calendar and social networks on a regular basis can benefit from IFTTT. However, it probably won't be appropriate and/or relevant to casual users, or users inexperienced with the many possible links between smartphones and online apps.

• Their UX and UI for creating recipes is brilliant. So easy to use and very well thought out.
• I love that you can search for recipes other users have created and implement those if you choose to do so. It saved me so much time vs. having to figure certain recipes on my own.
• Their notification and syncing options are spot on. I love how much I can customize what I want to see. Their variety of apps is also phenomenal and I love that they're adding new integrations/apps every week.

• Better navigational capabilities from scenarios
• Better use of AI or prompting for complex things like iterators/aggregators
• A "test mode" so that you don't have a ton of runs that are invalid or to be able to populate dummy data without wasting unnecessary operations to create it.

• It would be nice if there were more business software platforms on IFTTT, but I think that will come with time.
• I wish the site had an area to search pre-built integrations based on category or need.
• There really aren't too many cons to using IFTTT, the service gets better all the time and continues to grow almost daily.

At this point, it is firmly embedded in the DNA of the business and to give up the ability to automate workflows and create integrations on the fly would be a terrible idea.

There is no better alternative and although Integromat is new and the GUI is slick, they make you pay per push and IFTTT does not. The rest of the competition make you pay per integration or are just not as seamless in usage or have the depth of catalogue. If you use Zapier for instance, it is because they have an integration you have to use, not because Zapier does a better job.

I think it is the easiest workflow tool that I have ever used. Drag and drop works perfectly, helping less computer friendly users to simplify and nest their workflows. Managers without IT experience are now dealing separately with most of issues on their own. Handover of tasks and workflows is also easier as it is possible to comment and explain everything inside one.

For the most part, IFTTT is great but it does have its limitations. You may only do one thing at a time. If you want branching logic it can be cumbersome and clunky. This it where something like Microsoft Flow does better. For simplicity, nothing can beat IFTTT for how easy it is to set up and use right out of the box

The pricing schema is very attractive, almost 50% lower than the competition. You could start from free and then grow. It has a pretty big library of connections to other apps and services, which really helps you when everything is a mess. Integromat has a really easy-to-use interface. You could do almost everything with fewer than 5 clicks. Scenarios (automation steps to complete a routine) have graphics so you can configure them more easily.

I have had a few issues with apps over the years. Compared to other services, ITFFF is the best choice but no service is perfect unless you build it yourself for yourself. ITFFF needs more tutorials on how to create a custom platform, but overall I will recommend it as an easy to use, time-saving service.

Just try it for your own social media platforms. Then imagine how much money it can save/make.

Integromat allows us to do everything we used to do on Zapier but it doesn't limit us to only the popular apps, with Integromat we're integrating custom APIs and we get data from different servers through GET requests and it's exactly what we needed and Zapier couldn't provide it.

IFTTT is free and easy to use, where Zapier has a freemium business model. We actually use both platforms for different things. I prefer Zapier for more complicated connections, where IFTTT allows us to have more connections without the added fee. Additionally, IFTTT allows us to do more unique and one-off automations.

• The time that it saves us when it posts across platforms is great because we only have to post one picture and caption and it goes out to all of our social media accounts.
