We selected Checkr because our HRIS integrated with it. It also offered better pricing. Checkr's reports are less detailed than InfoMart but we have confidence they meet any legal ramifications that may arise.

I don't recall the name of the other company I used in the past but it was much less detailed and organized when it comes to the delivery of information on the background checks.
I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to any talent team hiring at scale. We run large scale hiring campaigns for field teams where new sites ramp up, think 50 plus employees. In those case, chekr's ability to launch and track checks in bulk is a lifesaver.
GoodHire is well suited for those who need to run quick background checks and want the results neatly laid out and summarized. It's good for running one-off background checks, and having the ability to cancel/update them as you see fit. It's perfect if you want to connect it to your HRIS system as well.
It's not ideal for those who need to run a large amount of background checks at one time.
It has plenty of customization that you can do to help with sending information to those who need it rather than to just one person for all things. Allowing for more workflow customization for your organization's needs.
