Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Chrome Remote Desktop can measure up to that with better resolution adaptation. Other than that it's a good program
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Has better rendering resolution (often smoother) and without having to configure any firewalls or port forwarding, it makes it a much better choice than using RDP. Managed connections all appear in a central location where on RDP you have to make individual shortcuts for each …
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Chrome Remote Desktop seems to be a an easy to use and efficient program. Such as Teamviewer, however Teamviewer offers more program features such as able to control a device's function (shutting down, restarting, audio input, cmd etc). With those added program features I …
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
I loved working with Chrome rather than Teamviewer as It gives me better and more features.
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
No one can beat Chrome Remote Desktop's price! But that price (free) means something--missing features, limited support. For true business use, access to multiple machines, robust support, etc., I'd go with one of the more expensive options.
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
We selected Chrome Remote Desktop because it was a free alternative that gives us the functionalities that we need.
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
It's a free client-less solution that is simple to use. It does require Chrome installed and the agent installed to make it work.
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
I've used TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Go to My PC, and Microsoft Remote Desktop to access PCs remotely. Chrome Remote Desktop is one of the best remote desktop programs. The other programs are more expensive and provide fewer features than Chrome Remote Desktop. It is much easier …
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Chrome Remote Desktop is much more user-friendly that Symantec Endpoint Protection. Support is marginally better with Chrome as well.
Symantec's solution is hard to set up and admin, it also uses a lot of memory that can only be freed with rebooting. The downside to memory usage …
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Most of the other software solutions come at a cost for the licensing, and it is usually not cheap, given that you need to have commercial licensing for a business/organization. Also, with the other remote desktop solutions, there is more of a learning curve in order to use, …
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
TeamViewer is good but it won't let you connect to your devices as seamlessly as Chrome Remote Desktop does. Also, TeamViewer is pricey. Some of our non-technical users faced slight challenges learning on how to operate TeamViewer, which definitely is not the case ever since we …
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Less cost than Join.me and seems to more seamless if you subscribe to G Suite services.
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Still up in the air about which solution is best. We're actually leaning towards Windows RDP via Citrix session right now. It is secure, fast, and easy.
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Teamviewer is much easier for less tech-savvy users to set up, and you can walk them through it over the phone if necessary ("Just google 'TeamViewer' and click 'Download'". However, TeamViewer wants to update VERY regularly and sometimes doesn't connect reliably. We've never …
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Bomgar is probably one of the best support/Unattended remote access solutions out there. Logmein is a close second. However, the cost of both these solutions can be daunting. However, a third option, Jump Desktop, is slick since it uses a propriety 'fluid' streaming protocol …
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Chrome Remote Desktop compliments the Google for Work Admin suites perfectly, you can deploy this application to all your devices via policy from google, it's easy to use from the operators point of view and allows for a quick seamless connection to your device, the cost is …
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
I've used RealVNC but it takes much longer to set up RealVNC in the past. More firewall setup. Not as secure in my opinion.
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Hands down Chrome Remote Desktop is the best option available if you find yourself mobile and without access to a laptop/PC. In some cases, I would say that this application outperforms the native Windows Remote Desktop application. However, there are some features missing, …
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
I would say it Chrome is good for a person to gain access to their machine. Were as TeamViewer is good for IT team to access a Users machine.
Chose Chrome Remote Desktop
Just like Chrome, which is better because it is a free, world-class product.
Getscreen.me
Chose Getscreen.me
I've never used another tool for this purpose in the past so I can't compare it to anything else. I know that there are plenty of other tools out there that have this kind of functionality, but it's just not something I'm able to compare as I haven't had the occasion to use …
Chose Getscreen.me
Value for money is the main difference. For the cost - nothing touches Getscreen.me!
Chose Getscreen.me
Getscreen.me just works, and it works easily. There's no complex set up, no odd pricing, and the central management is wonderful.
Chose Getscreen.me
While TeamViewer is a more mature/developed product. TeamViewer has more features and the interface is very similar but TeamViewer feels better. While TeamViewer currently takes the lead by a small margin for us, Getscreen.me is a very capable application for our needs. For …
Chose Getscreen.me
In my experience, Getscreen.me stacks up very well against other remote desktop software like TeamViewer and AnyDesk. One of the things I appreciate most about Getscreen.me is its competitive pricing. Compared to other remote control services like TeamViewer or AnyDesk, I find …
Chose Getscreen.me
more complete solution than anything else I have tried, and more cost effective than any other commercial application
Chose Getscreen.me
Occasionally I have to supply aid to friends or family members, or I desire to discuss how I want to share the television screen over the call in GetScreen.me. One click can create a key and share it; the sessions begin when it arrives. I'm keeping an eye on specific computers …
Chose Getscreen.me
Getscreen.me is easier to use as a support agent and on the client end. Remote access works much better than both Zoom or Teams. Those programs often to not work well for remote access when sharing screens
Chose Getscreen.me
First of all, I do not need to install anything, I can basically work everywhere even in-network where the internet is restricted like company networks. Cheaper than TeamViewer and more options were added frequently due to the high demand of features requested and the dev team …
Chose Getscreen.me
Teamviewer is more complicated than Getscreen.me. Plus I'm not sure it does the automatic IP resolution. More importantly, you can have permanent access to the computer without having the user to re-authorize anything. Once they've downloaded the software and run it, you have …
Chose Getscreen.me
This is a newer app and with work to do, but doesn't break the bank - especially like TeamViewer which goes up year on year.
Chose Getscreen.me
Getscreen.me works very well. The current feature set works well and I look forward to them adding more features. For ad-hoc support sessions, GSM works as well as anyone out there.

Chrome Remote Desktop is great for accessing machines remotely which cannot be accessed via Microsoft's Remote Desktop. It's especially nice for accessing machines of varying operating systems from a machine of a single operating system. For example, if I'm on my Windows laptop, I can always use Microsoft Remote Desktop to connect to local machines (or machines via a VPN), but I can't do the same with Macs. I can do both from Chrome Remote Desktop though, and this program is very lightweight, which is nice.

Cons
  • More fluid video rendering. Does a good job, but could use a more consistent framerate at times.
  • A way to easier switch between multiple monitors.
  • Adding an ability to zoom for multi-monitor display. Sometimes on a single screen it can get difficult to read if trying to view them all.

  • On a mac, better ability to trigger a hidden dock
  • Certain key commands don't work and only trigger the computer you're actually on, not the remote one.
  • Make it a little less IT focused and a bit more layman friendly with some naming and features.

A very easy lightweight tool that is completely scalable and deployed via google admin platform. The tool is free to use and works extremely well with the chrome devices we currently have deployed. Any organization using chrome or google suites should look into this tool as it's much easier to use then other remote software in the market

Usability
Just a great product that has saved countless hours of commute to work and given the flexibility to be able to work from anywhere, whether at home or when away on holiday overseas. I love that it is a free product and is just as great as its competitors' products. It has also allowed me to prepare for work for the following day.

For what we need it to do, it just works. And I'm sure that we're not even using it to the full extent of what it's capable and designed to do. If we had the need, Getscreen.me has many more features that we could implement. If the need arises in the future, it's great knowing that we already have a tool to utilize.

Support Rating
The only support I ever accessed were help files and web tutorials. I never tried to access personal support, mostly because I don't believe much of it is available. As a free service, my expectations for support are pretty low; that said, Chrome Remote Desktop is easy enough to configure and troubleshoot even with limited technical knowledge.
