    The 1570 is the beast among Cisco Models, it comes in my opinion in 1 degree less than the IW3700. I have 1550 AP's installed for 9 years and not working now, when I compare both models under the sun and humidity the 1570 running for the past 4 years looks like new.

    As that part of the company is a Cisco Oriented company, it was the best way to go. We did look at other products but were happy to add them to our contact with Cisco equipment and services.

    Making the decision to use Aironet is more related to the type of scenario that you have. We chose Aironet because we mainly manage all the network internally and already have Cisco products to integrate with Meraki which is a good option if you are starting from scratch.
