Chose Citrix Workspace (discontinued)
Less login and connection issues with Citrix Workspace versus Remote Desktop Manager.
Chose Citrix Workspace (discontinued)
There is really no comparison here - Adobe just doesn't have the bandwidth to provide all of the services that Citrix Workspace does.
Chose Citrix Workspace (discontinued)
The primary reason to choose Citrix Workspace was that it's cost-effective. Citrix Workspace also has majorly involved in this business, other alternates are one of the other products for parent companies which makes it more focused on its intent. Citrix Workspace comes with a …
Chose Citrix Workspace (discontinued)
I was not involved in the selection/purchase process, but Citrix Workspace offers a reliable and proven remote access solution, that is secure and, as far as I know, less expensive than Amazon Workspaces.
Chose Citrix Workspace (discontinued)
Citrix Workspace allows for great control over what users have access to, and how they access those applications.
Chose Citrix Workspace (discontinued)
Citrix does great at allowing us to access work from remote locations. Our IT provider is very familiar with the product and is able to troubleshoot this product much better than the competitors.
Chose Citrix Workspace (discontinued)
On the basis of user experience and productivity, CIitrix Workspace provides a single experience for employee to get work done quickly and efficiently and on the other hand applications like VMware users have to use multiple tool to access their file and apps.

Chose Red Hat Virtualization (RHV)
RHV has the following advantages:
  • They have relatively cheaper subscriptions compared to others.
  • With the future going to Openstack and containerization migrating to KVM-based virtualization will be easier to migrate to future products.
Chose Red Hat Virtualization (RHV)
Compared to oVirt, RHEV is more stable but has fewer capabilities. ESX is far more difficult to automate.
Chose Red Hat Virtualization (RHV)
  • Red Hat Enterprise is more expensive but better supported when it comes to support.
  • Amazon WorkSpaces had more online documentation and resources to scan through.
Chose Red Hat Virtualization (RHV)
RHEV is an excellent product, includes more features, is less expensive, and has rock solid reliability and is backed with the best Red Hat Support in the industry. RHEV uses KVM under the hood which is used by all the big players in the industry (AWS, Rackspace, etc) to lower …
Chose Red Hat Virtualization (RHV)
RHEV offers a decent GUI and many management features, such as an API.
Chose Red Hat Virtualization (RHV)
We use them both, as one is not better than the other at all facets required. There is still a need to use both products, as we have not fully switched to RHEV due to Vsphere still having an edge over them with edits available to the systems while they are operational or they …
Chose Red Hat Virtualization (RHV)

Pretty much Open Source sums it up.
Chose Red Hat Virtualization (RHV)

Citrix Workspace is well suited as a dashboard for the variety of software and applications that relate to the various functions of our department. It seems secure and simple to navigate, which I appreciate as someone who handles sensitive information.

Red Hat Virtualization is suitable for small implementation and hosting VMs. However, when you start asking for additional features or enhancements, the engineering team is not the flexible as other engineering teams in Red Hat. It is very likely they will not accept adding features or in the best case. They wouldn't commit to a plan when it is possible to be available.

Cons
  • I find it particularly difficult to easily save to anything other than my file database, such as my regular desktop files. The series of folder paths is very confusing in my opinion.
  • I cannot save pdfs to my remote system and must save them locally.
  • No printing to work place destination capability.

  • Documentation of RHEV needs more improvement.
  • RHEV GUI needs a lot of improvements in some versions of RHEV, GUI will not work properly (shows incorrect details of VM ).
  • Need fast rollout of patch releases.
  • Need good linux Knowledge to manage the RHEVM.
