Covetrus AVImark vs. Demandforce

Avimark is very helpful with inventory, accounting, medical record keeping. Customer service is also amazing, they are very helpful most of the time when you call in to address an issue or ask them to help you figure out a shortcut way of doing things that would make everyones' jobs easier. We use Avimark to prompt for documents that we have created with "merge" words.

How heavily does your business rely on the internet to schedule appointments/communicate with patients? What programs/systems does your business use and is it compatible with Demandforce? Is the IT at your business knowledgeable about Demandforce? Appropriate to recommend Demandforce at mixers with other optometry offices.

• Being able to adjust "remove appointment" options on the calendar. Would be nice to change the type to different stages of the exam (i.e. 'checked in', 'with tech', 'with doctor', 'checked out'), rather than just whether the appointment was kept, rescheduled, late, etc.
• Inventory monitoring and receiving. There is little provided in terms of inventory control or alerting appropriate users if counts are off (like going into negatives). Variancing is also particularly time consuming and difficult
• Better integration with other types of credit card processing companies or technology.

We are constantly being contacted by comparable organizations. If Mindbody Online integrated a feature like Demandforce, we'd move over there to keep everything in one platform.

I find the program to be very user-friendly. This is software that is easy to use and understand. There are a number of shortcut keys that make it even easier to use. When teaching AVImark to new employees with zero veterinary experience, they pick up how to use AVImark quickly.

AVImark is the first and only veterinary software program I have used. I had very limited dealings with Chameleon and used PetPoint and Humane Solutions in a previous job that was in a shelter setting and there is no comparison of those products with AVImark. AVImark is more robust in its reporting, scheduling, and inventory tracking than what I knew of PetPoint and Humane Solutions.

I do not have any alternative products to compare this service too. It was in place when I came aboard this company and I have no say in its continuation or replacement. As from what I can gather, there are many alternatives to this platform, but Demandforce is the only one I am aware of that runs in your system tray and is passively ran in conjunction with your accounting database.
