If you need to have a 7.2K solution or an array where you have several speeds needed (7K, 10K, or SSD) then Powervault is good. It is also much cheaper than Pure Storage. Incentivized Helpful? Likelihood to Recommend	PowerVault is good for direct attached solutions such as video security, backups and tape storage. We had it as our VMWare storage but dropped it about 5 years because of lack of compatibility with VMWare. I believe it is compatible now, but I still wouldn't recommend it for large enterprise environments. It is possible to scale out easily and will get support from the vendor instantly. As it is a Hyperconverged Infrastructure and it is also the integration of Dell EMC hardware and Vmware, the flexibility that VxRail provides is effective. An organization that is looking for all in one place like data management, network management, Integration, and backup software ecosystem can go for this product. Cons	The solution isn't really for large enterprise solutions except for direct attached solutions. Subsequent units were very easy to install though... Dell/EMC has an A/B maintenance cycle for updates. Make sure ALL of your units are on the same cycle.
