Pricing is based on how many contacts are imported into the Donor Management System. All packages have unlimited users, unlimited campaigns, unlimited peer-to-peer pages, unlimited emails and communications, and optional events and auctions. All packages also include support and data migration.
Givebutter is not as user friendly, even though it is fairly easy to use. Bonterra Network for Good has many of the same options for running donor campaigns but goes beyond in data tracking and user friendliness. Bonterra Network for Good is extremely easy to learn. The only …
In comparison to Bonterra Network for Good, Blackbaud's cost was astronomically inflated, with Bonterra Network for Good costing only a fraction of the price. That was the main selling point. When you start to look at functionality allowed to the users, Bonterra Network for …
It seems like all of the other software I have used in non profit management has served one purpose. None of them handled all aspects of the job like Bonterra Network for Good does. I found them impossible to teach others as well. Very hard to navigate. Bonterra Network for …
I prefer the dashboard and the ease of use of Bonterra Guided Fundraising to these other products. Bonterra Guided Fundraising is also well-priced, but I picked it because of its usability.
We used Little Green Light for several years at a previous employer. LGL did not have the extensive integration capabilities or the level of sophistication that BGF has in terms of email, video, donor campaign pages, and exceptional customer support. For these reasons, we chose …
The applications have some similar functionalities, especially in the area of creating newsletters and email campaigns, but I find Bonterra Guided Fundraising is easier to use.
Razors Edge doesn't appear in your list. I worked with it at two other nonprofits and found it much more difficult to pull lists from than Bonterra Guided Fundraising.
I like Bonterra Guided Fundraising more than OneCause because OneCause was only used for events at the last nonprofit I worked at. Bonterra Guided Fundraising allow nonprofits like ours to have event pages, fundraising pages, and donor management software at a better cost than …
For us, Bonterra Guided Fundraising offered the best overall bang for the buck. There were cheaper options that didn't over the features we needed and more expensive options that we felt didn't offer features as good as the ones we were seeing at Bonterra. For an overall option …
Network For Good has been wonderful to use. I started one year ago and the system was already in place. I have used various CRMS over the past 15 years such as Goldmine, Siebel, and Salesforce. Network for Good compares very well. Record keeping and marketing campaigns are two …
Network for Good is the best because of all the items it offers to help your business succeed. I chose Network for Good because of the full year of training that we received that we could understand all of the tools we could use to help us to be successful.
Although Salesforce offers robust capabilities, it's not especially suited to smaller nonprofits. Network for Good addresses all of our needs without the complexity of Salesforce.
One Cause had similar functionality as Network for Good and offered support to the organization. One Cause does not have the capability of storing donor information, which limits the ability to send targeted information and requests to donors based on their interest.
I can't recall the name of the CRM I used at my last job, but it tried to do too many things. It was a good CRM, but it had "add-ons" that included keeping track of volunteers. At first, I was excited for this information to be in one place, but it did not integrate well and …
Network for Good has many additional services and is much more user friendly. They also have staff ready to help when needed without having to wait for days.
While many similarities between Network For Good and Bloomerang, I feel that Network For Good is easier to use, especially creating newsletters, forms and emails.
We feel DonorPerfect is better tailored to the nonprofit industry than Sales Force, and the fact that is easily integrates with Donor Search is also a huge plus.
DonorPerfect is much more user friendly with better features than greater giving. Constant Contact has been a wonderful addition to DP for communications.
I have used Raiser's Edge for many years and was extremely familiar with the product, when I moved to another nonprofit organization that was using DonorPerfect, I needed to get up to speed on DonorPerfect, including the terminology. DonorPefect does a lot of things that RE …
Although DonorSnap was less expensive, it did not provide the same ease of use. I purchased DonorSnap because of the price and very quickly realized I made a mistake. We used it less than 6 months before I converted to DonorPerfect. Not all donor management systems are the …
Donor Perfect is a much more comprehensive software package and fit our needs completely, whereas EGrabber would have necessitated we purchase and learn additional applications. Donor Search also allows us to import wealth capacity findings to better segment our support base …
DonorPerfect has better features for processing donations and volunteer hours. It also has much easier reporting features for donations. It is easier to use and less expensive for multiple users. The support team is readily available and there is usually no waiting time to …
Kindful was much less user friendly than DonorPerfect. We were frustrated in the analytics we were able to get from Kindful, as well as the clunkiness of their reports.
I used eTapestry for many years and have found that the culture at DonorPerfect is much more to the point. When I need help, I call in and the staff is always ready to walk me through things. There is not a hard sell with the folks at DonorPerfect either. With eTapestry, the …
I have extensively used Salesforce, have spent some time looking into Raiser's Edge and used a couple of CRM that was clearly not intended for use by non-profits. Salesforce had some good points, but there were also some big issues, and we were continually faced with the …
Double The Donation is a part of DonorPerfect and we have subscribed to it over the last few years but we do not see a significant and positive impact on donations.
We previously used Orange Leap (MPX), which was not nearly as user-friendly. I was pretty much the only one who could navigate that system for creating reports and customized mailing lists. We reviewed Shelby, but found that it didn't have the capacity to create the …
Pricing and training were the ultimate reason why we chose DonorPerfect over Blackbaud. We do not regret the decision either as our staff is small and the training received with this product is incomparable to any other service researched. The pricing was also a factor as a …
They offer great customer service and are fit for a small nonprofit. Also, they offer a good price and our budget doesn't take a big hit in comparison to other options.
Price--the best bang for the buck! Support--always get a call back on the same day! That saves time and money. User Friendliness--have changed personnel 4 times with Donor Perfect useage--little down time in training!
Compass-360 was a disaster for us. It was difficult to use and we were constantly having to manipulate the system to try and get it to work. Raiser's Edge was the only other system that I had previously used - and thought it was what we wanted. However, the cost, especially …
DonorPerfect has more comprehensive features and modules than Bloomerang, which I used at a former organization, but I wasn't involved in the decision to implement DonorPerfect at my current organization.
I used Network for the Good to run a fundraising event it was awesome. My organization is part of a larger regional non-profit dedicated to servicing those in our community who need a little help. By banding together under a larger regional organization, we can extend our impact through the utilization of Network for the Good across all associated organizations. It empowers smaller groups to have a larger impact on their community.
I love that I can integrate with Donor Search to learn about a person's past giving history to learn more about their interests. DonorPerfect also lets us upload a photo of our donors so we can easily identify them when they visit us or Attend a function. I wish the photo upload offered a larger image and multiple images, some donors send me pics of their visits and pets and it would be great to also store those right in their DP account.
Reports are clean and fairly simple to pull, as long as you're trained in how to use the filters. Especially coming from experience using a database where we had to write codes to pull reports, Donor perfect's report system is incredibly simple.
DonorPerfect is SO user-friendly and simple to find the information you need. I believe anyone can easily learn how to use it.
It's so simple to customize your DonorPerfect system. Screen Designer is one of my favorite parts. I have no background in databases, but I can create fields, calculations, set alerts for our philanthropy officers when certain gifts come in, and customize how the screens look. You can make so many adjustments in your DonorPerfect system to meet the needs of your organization.
The staff listen to your needs! The community allows you to make a suggestion for how DonorPerfect can be improved. If your idea gets enough votes, they make it happen. The support team is also probably the best I've ever seen. Each person is so knowledgeable, personable, and helpful.
Every organization you enter has to have a point of contact with their email address listed. The point of contact also has be entered separately as an individual. If you use “email all” to your donor list, the contact gets emailed twice. This seems like it would be easy to prevent in the system but it’s currently not possible.
Event ticketing is extremely limited unless you pay significantly more as an add-on. This should be included as a default feature.
Emails sent through the system can end up in spam filters. Given how much email gets sent through their system, they should find a way to overcome that.
DonorPerfect lacks good reporting functionality. Our staff often have to export data to CSV or use other reporting tools so we end up with a lot of data outside
DonorPerfect doesn't really do a good job of tracking the full donor relationship. It needs to have better CRM functionality. Our donor relations staff often resort to third party tools to track these things.
DonorPerfect has an API for integrations but it is very poorly implemented and slow.
We have a lot of security concerns about DonorPerfect. These stem from our experiences using their API and observing how it is implemented, but also through our conversations directly with the company. They refused to provide security compliance details during a routine vendor risk audit from a reputable security audit vendor that we engaged to evaluate all of our vendors.
We are still learning and rebuilding our nonprofit using this platform, so this year is a trial run to see how we can increase our network and our donations. So long as we are able to see a significant return on investment in terms of donations received through the platform, we will renew for next year.
BGF is an easy-to-use platform for entering, editing, and analyzing customer or donor data and giving. I would highly recommend it to any organization looking to improve its customer relationship management functionality. As a previous user of different CRM platforms with other non-profits, BGF has made tracking donor information and communicating with donors much easier.
In 5+ years we have never had an issue with it not working when we needed it to. It is very reliable and doesn't seem to have a lot of bugs or interruptions in service.
It's always up when we need it. There are some errors that happen and are not reproducible and cannot be resolved. But [they are] very few and none that cause disruption for the organization.
It is always fast for us and reports have a very quick upload time. We don't integrate it into other programs so I'm not 100% sure about that, but it always works when we use it and is very reliable. Even when we run Excel files for complete information on donors, it always works very fast.
DonorPerfect is as reliable as your internet connection. It is a cloud based application and therefore you cannot pinpoint where the bottleneck is should you have one. But for the most part the app runs quickly.
Most of the time they are quick and friendly and help me resolve any issues. There have only been a couple of times that we couldn't find a resolution and I was just told that NFG didn't have that capability.
Support is so easy. We use chat most often - as we can get someone quickly. The support folks know the product and get answers quickly. If they need to escalate an issue, they do so quickly. The training is great and easily accessible. You can take classes over and over until you completely understand concepts
We only had one hiccup with the domain that was an issue on our end but NFG struggled to help us. It was finally resolved and we've been good ever since
DonorPerfect provides an extremely easy to use importing tool and the support team was awesome. You don't have to do it in house; for a reasonable fee you can get it done by them.
Givebutter is not as user friendly, even though it is fairly easy to use. Bonterra Network for Good has many of the same options for running donor campaigns but goes beyond in data tracking and user friendliness. Bonterra Network for Good is extremely easy to learn. The only downside is the cost factor.
Although DonorSnap was less expensive, it did not provide the same ease of use. I purchased DonorSnap because of the price and very quickly realized I made a mistake. We used it less than 6 months before I converted to DonorPerfect. Not all donor management systems are the same... you get what you pay for!
We originally used it only for philanthropy and now our Outreach team is using it for newsletters, our Advocacy uses it for volunteers and tracking, and our Volunteer Coordinator puts in volunteer hours and in-kind donations.
[There have been] only two outages since we have started using it and they were extremely information proactive. This should scale easily based on your internet connection.
I can't imagine doing my job on a daily basis without DonorPerfect, so the ROI is tremendous for me and my organization. Not only does it store our records and data succinctly, it is a one-stop shop for staying organized and on-task with the personal Dashboard feature, recording data (no matter how obscure), and generating reports.
DonorPerfect is a huge time-saver for me, as it allows me to schedule tasks for myself and set specific reminders related to donors that populate on my daily Dashboard. I don't have to leave DonorPerfect, open up a calendar program, and duplicate my entry of data or tasks or reminders. I can do it all within each donor's record without leaving DonorPerfect or having to navigate elsewhere on my PC.
