Based in Los Angeles, the company was founded by technologists with specialties in marketing automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. New Zealand based Wipster offers their video publishing and analytics platform that supports marketing teams with publishing data, view and engagement data, and detailed metadata, contained within an organized media asset library.
The editing and use of AI is much better with Dubb - Video Communication Platform. Customer service is located right here in the US and in the same time zone as me, Pacific. The functionality is easy and the interface of the product is clean and well laid out. Pricing is very …
I compared Dubb - Video Communication Platform with BombBomb. After review, I just preferred the features and functionality of Dubb - Video Communication Platform. Things like the calendar integration and 1:1 chat feature will add value to my business. I just felt that Dubb - …
This is the best video, lead gen, client retention, and video funnel builder I have ever used! if you use Bomb Bomb you won't after giving this a spin!
I have used another platform Bomb Bomb for over 3 years. I felt that Bomb Bomb was a good product but Dubb - Video Communication Platform does more for affordable pricing. I feel the Dubb - Video Communication Platform leaders set up this platform for success vs. just having …
I started using Video Ask because I hadn't found Dubb yet. Their use cases do cross over some; however, it is a different product (apples to oranges) with Video Asks sequences.
Dubb - Video Communication Platform has so many more benefits than either of those I mentioned - BUT MOSTLY it's the team behind it that brings their product home. They have such a passion for their tool and a desire to make sure those that use it have the same experience. It …
It does about the same thing, but not as well. At the time of my looking at it, Frame.Io just wasn't as good of a product. I ended up making a personal connection with the team at Wipster, who aggressively listen to their users, understand what frustrates us as creators (because …
After my experience with Wipster at my old job, when I started a business I knew I needed to look into alternatives. Despite the areas it failed, Wipster still made it easier to do my job. At this point, I've switched to Frame.io and it's hard to look elsewhere. Frame.io does …
Although it is an extremely diverse platform with many use cases, I have found it best suited to creating a message based on a specific marketing strategy and being able to reach people at scale. While it offers adequate CRM functionality in most cases, if you are needing a more robust CRM it might not have the functionality you need.
When a project reaches the point where an editor is ready for feedback, he or she uploads it to a Wipster folder. In this initial rough stage, it is typically only shared with the internal team for review. We want as many wrinkles ironed out as possible before the faculty gives their feedback -- again, they typically don’t have a lot of time to engage in a process requiring multiple revisions and versions of content. Once all parties are satisfied with the final product, we finalize and export. In general, I will leave content on Wipster for a couple of months in case we ever need to refer back to previous comments/feedback.
Very simple to use. When I'm considering a new tool, it has to make my day easier. Not add frustration to my day.
Includes personal branding in multiple places.
I really like the Presets. Before I realized presets were an option, I was spending an additional time adding CTAs. Now I have presets for each category. And I can add specific videos to each preset.
Wipster was one of the first applications to allow for frame-by-frame video feedback. This provided a unique opportunity to make feedback far more intelligible than before. Before Wipster, we needed to reference phone calls, notes, emails, and messages, as well as communicate verbally with our project managers. A lot of information can get lost this way, but Wipster places the feedback directly with the video, which makes it super easy to understand what the client desires for their video to look like.
Wipster allows for a client to select a location on a frame where their feedback is referencing. It's fairly archaic, but it works. Client feedback sits next to the playback window so it's somewhat easy to reference what the client wants.
Wipster also allows for integration with editing software like Premiere Pro, which speeds up the editing process as well.
I don't see how we can easily change the order in which videos are displayed on a showcase. It seems to default to the order in which the videos were uploaded, from oldest to most recent. That being said, I have not brought this up to the Dubb team yet; usually if something makes sense and can be done, the Dubb team figures out how to make it happen.
It's our favorite tool. It continues to get better. It gives us the opportunity to make a passive income for an outstanding product. It makes marketing fun and much easier since talking is much easier and more enjoyable than writing is. Plus the open rate is through the roof. In a world that has become almost completely virtual, it allows us to give a personal, in-person touch.
Video can still be a little bit imposing and invasive to some people. I have some businesses and clients I can't use Dubb with due to their age, comfort with technology, or overall impression on video - so I have to find alternatives to fit those gaps, which is time consuming. Less of a comment on Dubb and more on the struggle I have with some clients
They have three webinars a week for onboarding and Q&A purposes! They have a very active Facebook group, they are very active on email sending quality content for the growth of your initiatives. Only for support, I would get started all over with them
While the technical issues we have encountered with Wipster have been very low in the time we've used the service, the few instances where we have needed assistance were met promptly and effectively by Wipster's Support Team. This support even extended all the way from the platform's founder, as I received help from him, which really impressed me.
Dubb - Video Communication Platform's technology works. The other company's built-in video recording capability resulted in a very low-quality output (video), and Dubb - Video Communication Platform is built for business owners and marketers, which is a better fit for me, personally.
After my experience with Wipster at my old job, when I started a business I knew I needed to look into alternatives. Despite the areas it failed, Wipster still made it easier to do my job. At this point, I've switched to Frame.io and it's hard to look elsewhere. Frame.io does everything Wipster does but heaps better. It's easier to use, easier to organize, cleaner interface, and accomplishes my goals at a reasonable cost to the business.
