Storify was a social curation platform that collects updates from social networks, to create a new story format that is interactive, dynamic and social. It was acquired by Adobe, and has been retired (May 2018).
We decided to opt for Echobox Social as it is more suited for publishers than Sprout Social. We do not have to manually select when we would like to schedule posts. The AI-powered engine of Echobox Social not only means we are able to maximise our reach, but it also suggests …
Echobox Social stands out for its autonomous process of content creation and distribution, encompassing text, newsletter content, subjects, and scheduling times for both newsletter broadcasts and social media posts. Unlike other solutions we considered, such as Hootsuite or …
We received a recommendation for this tool (Hootsuite), but whoever gave us the information had not used it. We had difficulty understanding how it works. At the same time, in research done online, we discovered Echobox. We sent an email and were promptly responded to, …
To be completely honest, we've stumbled upon Echobox because some other media houses in Serbia were already using it. They were kind enough to offer us a trial and we were very satisfied with initial reactions, both from our staff and from our readers. Therefore it was a …
There's no comparison. The number of hours saved with automatic posting and the use of artificial intelligence to optimize schedules and select the correct audience made Echobox a very useful and valuable tool for our portal and we managed to gain a lot of time for other …
For us, Echobox is the first tool of its kind so we can't make a comparison with other kinds of software. We have used tools like Trello and Slack, but they don't have this function and, of course, we used to use Facebook's integrated management system, but it's not comparable …
I'm not really comfortable comparing Echobox to other vendors I have not used. That said, Echobox's ease of use and an accessible client team drove our decision to select and stay with Echobox. We have been with them several years now and do not have any intentions of …
No comparison. Echobox is far more intuitive, and the integration is excellent. Although the cost is higher, the efficiency benefits so far outweigh the minor extra expense.
Echobox AI function (the ability to decide when is the best time to share a post) is a [game-changer] and also the UI is cleaner and easier to use. I found Hootsuite confusing and complicated. It has too many windows and also doesn't pull the articles automatically. There is no …
Later.com is used for Instagram in terms of links in bio. I have heard that Instagram on Echobox does not work so well for our company so we have not added this feature to our Echobox account.
In both products, you can post your different articles, but the big difference it´s that Echobox will choose the best moment to do it and in Zapier the article publish immediately.
We use the Echobox ranking for sharing and resharing the content at the best moment, plus we can edit the titles and the images before publishing on social networks. With Zapier, for example, we publish the content when the RSS feed was updated. Now we can reach the best …
Echobox can all be done on one webpage as opposed to needing multiple different tabs open, and also has a seemingly unlimited amount of users that can have an account, which is great for security as not everyone needs access to our actual social profiles. It's a lot more …
Sprout has far more analytic functionality but Echobox's AI analysis of our content and automation means we can trust the system to manage our posts and focus on content creation. Sprout remains a manual posting tool.
Dlvr.it did a very good automation job, but Echobox is tailor-made for news editors. Therefore, with Echobox we have much more control over how, when, and what we share on social media.
We selected Echobox as it was recommended by our international colleagues. No other similar products were considered. Prior to using Echobox, we posted directly onto each social media platform using their innate tools.
Hootsuite is great for influencers and other types of companies because it allows you to schedule everything in advance. The best part of Echobox is that you can connect it to your website and it will automatically crank out your own content with little difficulty in a way that …
I honestly can't compare it to other products as I have not used anything close to Storify. We use blogs like WordPress and Blogger, but that is very different from Storify.

I addressed this in an earlier comment, but Storify is truly the best that I have found for displaying things in a narrative form. Other alternatives are more visually pleasing (like Tint, RebelMouse), but don't handle the narrative form so well. Those other platforms also do …
Echobox Social is well suited to publishers and media organisations who are publishing daily online content that needs sharing across social platforms. It works best if your social media objective is driving traffic to your articles/website. It would be suitable for both small and large organisations, as it allows multiple users with different access.
I would advise that Storify is easy to use and includes many built-in resources, such as search tools, but that its application can be improved even more by combining it with other tools such as Google News (also accessible in Storify, but using standalone site is easy), Twitter (corporate and 3rd party) search tools and media management / "clipping" services like Vocus
Storify is a really clean and cool way to demonstrate the use of live-tweeting at an event. Whenever we hosted galas or organized huge events, we would gather all of the Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter posts using the same hashtag and create a story. What's nice about this is you can choose which posts you want to include or omit. Once you create it, it tags everyone that's mentioned -- which is great because it streamlines your time -- and you can easily import the finished Storify in WordPress. This made it easy to include in our blog.
Storify can make your organization look pretty social media savvy, which is what people would tell us whenever we used it. It's also a fun way to tell a story in real time without having to invest too much effort in writing an old-fashioned blog.
Aside from using Storify to strengthen my organization's brand, I've learned that it can be an effective educational tool. I've used it to learn more about a news story by gathering tweets using the same hashtag. It's fun to see how a story unfolds in real time!
Since I'm Brazilian, and our whole team is based in Brazil, would be great if the whole platform was translated for Portuguese. There are no many English speakers in Brazil, to be honest. That would make it easier
Tik Tok. Would be nice if somehow Echobox could provide their AI for Tik Tok Users
Because I am totally satisfied with Echobox service. I find it balanced between the service itself and its cost. Compared to its competitors, it is, without a doubt, the best product for small publishers. It only lacks in a greater and more efficient management of statistics which, at the moment, is absent. I will definitely renew Echobox!
Storify allows the user to tell a story or convey a message using not just words but conversations that take place in the social media. As use of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and other social media increase, journalists - and anyone with a message - needs something like this to pull the information into one unifying form. Storify does that.
Echobox Social's user interface is straightforward to navigate and even members of our team who are not necessarily social media specialists can step in when needed. The schedule queue is very easy to understand, meaning different team members can see what content is scheduled to be posted. When trying to edit the automation settings, each feature is well explained if you hover over the question mark button.
From the day I first started using it, Storify has always made total sense. It's not the kind of product that forces you grit your teeth a lot or go into cumbersome customer support areas or fumble around forever only to be unhappy with the end result. I have been able to successfully use the product from the beginning
When there have been problems, they’ve usually been resolved very quickly. Some issues have occurred such as not being able to download images or posts not going out when the service has crashed, but they’re also very open to feedback. The option to download pictures loaded into the feed stories was my suggestion; saving us time creating new images and getting the posts out quickly
Practice makes perfect. The more often any new tool is used, the more comfortable the implementer is with the tool. Also, there is a natural tendency with any new tool, to want to use it a great deal. Identifying proper uses as they relate to your overall marketing goals is key to any decision to use a tool.
Echobox AI function (the ability to decide when is the best time to share a post) is a [game-changer] and also the UI is cleaner and easier to use. I found Hootsuite confusing and complicated. It has too many windows and also doesn't pull the articles automatically. There is no comparison really, Echobox is miles ahead.
I addressed this in an earlier comment, but Storify is truly the best that I have found for displaying things in a narrative form. Other alternatives are more visually pleasing (like Tint, RebelMouse), but don't handle the narrative form so well. Those other platforms also do not display text only social posts quite as well.
Positive impact: time-saving. We have saved on staff costs and other staff are able to focus on more skilled tasks than manual scheduling
Positive impact: improved output. We have seen an increase in traffic, page views, and more digital subscriptions and email sign-ups since we started using Echobox
Storify has significantly increased the visibility of our social media channels. With the clean embedding options offered by Storify, we are able to present our social media activity on some of our more established channels (i.e. university websites). In turn, we can convert passive audiences into active ones.
Storify has really helped our constituents in the academic community embrace social media. By providing a space where social media conversations can be archived, Storify really turns social media conversations into spaces for collaborative note-taking. In short, it helped shift the perspective—making social media a tool instead of a distraction.
Storify helps us organize and, frankly, remember what we're doing in the social media space. It allows us to document and tell a compelling story about our social media efforts to senior decision makers and other internal constituents.
