The only other professional learning we have used is to hire an educator and have a live zoom meeting which is essentially what edX for Business provides on an on-demand format. This is our first program and so far enjoying the transition.
Chose edX for Business
edX for Business seemed to be quite similiar to other competitors in terms of methodology and formats. In our case, courses themes availability were very important, because the challenge was to find relevant content to support pre-defined learning tracks. We found most of them …
Chose edX for Business
The very strong point of edX is that it is so much professional and it is specialized in organizational training and upskilling. It is one of the reasons why edX is a bit ahead of other e-learning platforms.
Chose edX for Business
Coursera is another great platform. They are pretty comparable functionally. We chose EdX initially because of specific content that was requested for training. However, we also have users on Coursera because of specific content that’s only on that platform. The best advice I …

It offers better depth of the courses. The enterprise feature such as sso takes an edge. it has an upper hand in the depth and coverage of material. It is better suited for strategic learning and development program. The credential value is also very high of the courses …
Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport)
Chose Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport)
Skillsoft Percipio has more contents than the other platforms. The courses are strong and the variety of topics makes the job easier for companies to teach new skills. As a LMS is not strong, but I don't think that's their main goal.
Chose Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport)
It all depends on your use case, budget, technology lift, quality, etc. My users need to be satisfied #1, or else we go with another provider. #2 the cost needs to be in line. #3 the user onboard needs to be easy, etc. Skillsoft Percipio works for us, hits all the marks.
Chose Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport)
We have looked at other vendors and none provide the well-known books at a reasonable cost to the institution.
Chose Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport)
Skillsoft offers one of the more comprehensive learning platforms among its competitors. While the platform does appear dated at times with regard to the user interface, it does a really good job of offering a wide assortment of learning tools and features for interested …
Chose Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport)
Both are great products, and very different, but both are designed around employee training and give ways to track completion of certain training content. Skillport is much more suited for general training though since it's a platform that can host a variety of training …
Chose Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport)
I haven't used any other online training system except for Skillport, and I wasn't the person who selected it. However, our organization usually uses pretty decent technology when it comes to training, and I trust that they felt this was the best choice for our organization …
Chose Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport)
The products we used are not listed. Element K had an e-learning module. It was difficult to use and was not cost effective. It did not have the breadth of topics to choose from and the courses were limited to the instructor lead titles.
Chose Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport)
We have used no other products similar to Books 24x7. I am certain that HR probably tested or reviewed several options before settling on this product, but I have no information related to why they decided on Books 24x7.

I certainly reccomend edX for Business to support learning projects that demand specific knowledge contents. These online courses are complete and engaging, and they can be used to support different learning needs inside a company. It is flexible because anyone can complete it on its own pace and using different devices. I believe it is appropriate to big companies, because pricing may be an issue in some countries (it is expensive in Brazil).

Books 24x7 is a useful tool for growth, knowledge sharing, and overall intellectual health within the company. Our company has been very forward thinking in offering this to every employee. As a result, people have been able to grow in areas they may not have previously explored because of the free access to resources they may not have bothered with before they had free access to them.

Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport) is easy to understand. Students didn't need much of an effort to understand how to use it, where to find the content, how to pass each course. It was also great that Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport) has this direct link to LinkedIn so the user can post their acquired skills on their professional history.
