Instant messaging for business allows people to communicate relaying information in real time. However, corporate chat app is a contemporary update to the ancient email communication cutting out time, expense and effort at the same time. Nowadays many organizations are using instant messaging for their daily business conversations. But for effective communication, an easy to use corporate chat app is vital. Troop Messenger is an enterprise-level business communication chat application. It is…
Egnyte was the clear winner, given how the access works and how it can scale over time. It allows folder access control at every folder level, meaning you won't have to restructure or create a new site just to isolate specific data.
Egnyte syncs with Windows machines better than any competitor I have come across. The service focuses on just this platform and their in depth focus shows in the end result. Google is not really made with Windows in mind. Box is cumbersome and the web portal is not easy to use. …
Egnyte is already up to Dropbox because of its features and its interface we can easily understand Egnyte but dropbox is very hard to understand security is more in Egnyte as compare with dropbox so I think Egnyte is heading in the right direction and Egnyte team is doing a …
I have also tried Azure Backup but Egnyte has more smart features than this. As I am using their
platform for some time so when I get stuck anywhere I just contact their
representatives and they respond on time. Listen to queries very carefully.
It is a better cloud storage platform than other tools. The
technical staff is the most fantastic thing about Egnyte. They are always
available for any kind of help at any time. They assess the problem critically and
Egnyte provided Quarem the most robust and secure environment. Additionally, Egynte makes organizing the files very simple, saving my team time and money.
At the time when this was implemented (over 5 years ago and still in production), there were issues with syncing and reliability that Egnyte did not have, and have continued to impress with. Other providers have improved a lot and Egnyte is fairly costly, but switching costs …
Egnyte provided a secure and reliable platform for our specific need [for] secure file sharing. We do not rely on Egnyte for syncing files or for a corporate internal file share, which is how we use Google Drive. But, we are pleased with the customizations and tracking of …
We also looked at Dropbox and a few others, and we found that Egnyte was (at the time) the ONLY HIPPA and Part 11 compliant software on the market. We loved the security features in Egnyte and felt safe trusting our data to such an innovative and reputable company. We are …
I think that Egnyte is a good tool especially when you need to share files within the same company or organization. I think that the layout is much better and updated than Dropbox. The downside to Egnyte is that you cannot edit files within the tool like you can do for Google, …
Egnyte has a much easier management console and it's easier to share files and create a directory of files etc. The overview is more simplified. Onedrive, however, has the option to collaborate in documents in the application itself. But Egnyte should have this feature in the …
Egnyte's storage capacity was well beyond the capabilities of DropBox at our budget. Plus, at the time (nearly five years ago) DropBox was a little quirky when it came to uploading files. OneDrive was a good fit but it presented challenges when working with users that did not …
Egynte does not allow for file collaboration when compared to Google Drive. Egynte is a better option for compliant and secure file and asset management. Also for when taking version control into consideration. When organizations are collaborating with external organiations …
Egnyte is more user-friendly than both Dropbox and Box, and has more functionality to match. The user management is simple with Egnyte, and the storage limits are enormous - we'll never be concerned about running out of room. Egnyte's device management is also an essential part …
Egnyte is easier to use and doesn't have as many glitches. It's pretty seamless to edit something and it saves multiple copies of a draft. It's easier and cleaner to search, set up admin rights and you can set it up to store automatically. I had some major issues with Google …
I did not select Egnyte - my company used it when I started to work here. I don't have another program to compare to but we all have been very happy with the system. We plan to use it for as long as possible. It is super easy to use and we love that it has the ability to open …
Egnyte has significantly more structure out of the box than Google Drive or Dropbox. While Google Drive is much cheaper, and Dropbox has more potential in the right hands; Egnyte just works immediately in an enterprise situation. There are other enterprise level solutions, like …
Dropbox is just the main competitor of Egnyte that we have used and have ample experience with, among many others. Egnyte however blows dropbox out of the water in ease of use, style, functionality, and cyber security from my experience. Egnyte has been nothing short of …
None of these other solutions had document tracking or search features that could even hold a candle to Egnyte. Out of all of them box had the best, then we tried Egnyte and it blew then all out of the water. The amount of time we saved on minor tasks was more than enough to …
The biggest competitor and leader in this space is Dropbox. Egnyte beats Dropbox when it comes to ease of use and its inviting interface. However, Dropbox has the obvious advantage in reliability, which comes with the scale of that company. Ultimately, the security of Egnyte …
The best aspect of range in a remote setting is feeling connected. I feel as though we are all united because we can easily start a conference with our teammates, making it seem like we are all present. These very little things let us coordinate and work together in a way that …

We are happy using the application and have no complaints about it. It made our daily team communication and collaboration simple and seamless. The best part is its file deck module, where it lets us view all the files that were shared across Troop Messenger in one place, also …
Troop Messenger is the most incredible team communication tool I've come across in a long time. Initially, we had to depend on multiple tools for different requirements, and we now rely completely on them. It serves as the standard against which all team chat apps are assessed. …
We wanted an on-premise chat so as aforementioned we started testing tools with Troop Messenger first, since we liked it without any second thought we opted for it. I wouldn’t its flawless services are the only reason because this tool’s price and security protocols are also …
As a part of a team, I would propose Troop Messenger to each organization. Decisively, I can say that the main apparatus is immaculate and proactive in the whole market. I'm certainly incredible examination has been put resources into fostering this apparatus. According to as …
We created groups based on projects, responsibilities, teams, etc., of course, any tool can facilitate it but Troop Messenger has some key features like Unread Messages, Respond Later and other options, which boost the communication.
After testing various tools we decided to go with Troop Messenger because it is not just about features, it was working very well compared to any tool in the market so we decided to opt for the best tool like Troop Messenger. This tool is easy to use and every functionality …
We are are very concerned about security issues so we were looking for a team chat app compliable with on-premise model. Since, Troop Messenger has on-premise option we opted for it just for security reasons but to our luck this fine working tool has many features consequently …
The reason behind selecting Troop Messenger is it provides many features, it is user-friendly, and I feel it is the best-secured tool for team communication. It is one of the very few popular tools which provides an on-premise option. Troop Messenger is the best team …
Most of our teams are working remotely during this pandemic situation. Few of them are working from low-speed networks area where staying connected with the audio-video calling is the biggest challenge with other team collaboration tools. However, Troop Messenger works well on …
If you're simply sharing and syncing across devices and don't care about granular security permissions, this is an easy win. If you're needing more control over the ability to restrict users from deleting folders, sharing folders, and allowing only certain groups to be able to view a folder, this can work but will ultimately give you arthritis as you'll end up having to perform a multitude of clicks for a task that should be able to be done in a fraction of the action. Have a folder template that allows for the first two levels of folders to be view only and the third level allowing file/folder creation and deletion? Have fun setting each of the third level folder's permissions-- they should give out free wrist braces. When discussed with their engineers about this function, a suggested $28,000 custom script was suggested. I don't believe them when they say that they haven't heard of other customers wishing to assign rights to multiple folders-- Something any sort of real admin would require. It simply isn't important to them, which is fine. The current ability
[Troop Messenger is the] best internal messaging application for businesses of all kinds. Collaboration goes super fast and quick with Troop Messenger. Be it instant messaging, audio-video calling, sharing screen contents, or video conferencing. Team members can seamlessly get along with each other for exchanging productive work conversations.
We found that usage of Egnyte in our supported clients, with sufficient bandwidth, provided all the features and stability we required. The billing setup was fair and the support provided was ample for end users and well as our in house admins. There was a concern about high usage clients but this was taken into account during the vetting process.
Really easy to use the interface. The web browser is very intuitive and I have not had any notable issues with this. It's easy to work on documents as a team, and the only issues we have to tend to come with Apple apps and downloading large files to WebEdit. It's very similar to the filing systems that come on Apple and Windows devices so not a steep learning curve.
Egnyte works very well across all platforms and as an add-on to other programs. Load time is close to nothing. Reports can be made in no time as well. All in all no performance issues. We can see that it depends on the local network connection. If you're running with fiber there won't be any issues.
I never had to reach out to customer support for Egnyte. I don't know any coworkers who have had to reach out to Egnyte for support either. As far as I am concerned, the support team is doing a good job since I have not had to reach out to them.
Egnyte syncs with Windows machines better than any competitor I have come across. The service focuses on just this platform and their in depth focus shows in the end result. Google is not really made with Windows in mind. Box is cumbersome and the web portal is not easy to use. SharePoint sync to PC is terrible.
We are happy using the application and have no complaints about it. It made our daily team communication and collaboration simple and seamless. The best part is its file deck module, where it lets us view all the files that were shared across Troop Messenger in one place, also waiting for Troop Messenger's new features.
The promising advantage of Egnyte is that user can access their files from the cloud anywhere without any cumbrance like connecting to VPN or other third-party soft wares.
No risk of data loss.
The platform is lacking in changing the parent administrator of a folder as if one person is the administrator of the file or folder and when needs to change it becomes clunky and does not supports it properly.
Our team communication and collaboration is simplified with Troop Messenger. Now that we don’t feel the need to use e-mail for checking our work requirements and updates, we check all of them in Troop Messenger and get on to work. We are able to bring non-employees, such as our customers and clients, into it to exchange business conversations. We don’t feel any negative impacts with it.
