Whova, headquartered in San Diego, provides what they describe as Intelligent Event Technology Solutions by creating authentic audience participation and engagement and simplifying the entire event process from planning to registration, networking, and follow-up. Whova's mobile engagement apps support both on-location events and virtual events.
The EventLeaf website made me feel that their product/service was more about my event needs and less about hyping themselves. I found the timely and helpful support from EventLeaf wonderful. The team that presented the live demo were very helpful, answered what might have …
I checked the mentioned products. Honestly, they might be more qualified and even more popular as an event and registration management platform. However, the immediate response and flexible event packages that match small and medium events was the main reason that pushed …
Eventleaf was by far the smoothest, easiest to use of any of the platforms. In addition, the user experience and downloadable app interface were intuitive and simple to use. Many of our participants are technology shy, but they adapted to Eventleaf quickly.
Eventleaf is much more economical, and not as complex as RegOnline. Easy to input info. Had a lot of HTML issues with RegOnline on the back end. Not as many features as Reg, but Eventleaf has the necessities.
Previous to Eventleaf, we had a registration site set up through our company's website. It was great as a free service, but it did not allow for customizable registration fields and had some glitches when we tried to add those fields. The look was pretty basic as well. As we …
There's no comparison here. The Eventleaf site is so perfectly customized and professional. Typeform charges more per registrant for much less, with out any option for payments, no check-in app, no name badge printing, no lead app. honestly, the move to Eventleaf is a no …
It's a very modern tool from both event creators' and attendees' points of view where many things are customizable from registration types to invite types. There is a proper way to collect feedback. Every small detail can be mentioned about the event so that things are clear to …
There is no other software that can replace Eventleaf Online. It's because of the fact that Eventleaf Online has a lot of functions and it's really easy to use. There is no software that can compete. People love those things which are really easy to handle, can be used to …

Chose Eventleaf
The software's mentioned above and others I have used, lack one or more of the key features which Eventleaf has. I had to use multiple platforms to manage my events, which was frustrating and very annoying. Since I have started using Eventleaf, I found out so many features are …
I can't recall the other apps, I've used before, but did have two prior conferences with different apps.
I would definitely choose Whova over those other experiences because of the overall package. I also can't say enough about the opportunity to create personal groups to meet …
Other conferences I've attended in the past have used similar apps, but it has been a few years and I no longer have those installed nor do I recall the names, but I will say my experience with Whova was much smoother and more effective.
Well, I didn't exactly select Whova. It was the recommended App by the organizers of the conference. Anyway, I guess Whova resulted better for networking than the others mentioned.
I didn't select it; it was chosen by Wounds UK Media Organisation I used it at the event as an exhibitor and have already recommended it to another organisation
I think Whova compares well in terms of performance during events. Microsoft Teams may have the upperhand on office integration and using as a communication tool between employees.
When preparing for an event, having online registration is vital to planning. The online registration allows participants to learn about the event, determine their schedule and inform the host of their needs. For planning purposes, there are several helpful reports available through the Eventleaf Online app. This is a great tool if your organization will collect registrations for >50.
Overall having the Whova app was extremely helpful to provide information and drive engagement in the audience/attendees both on-site and remote. The ability to connect with like-minded attendees both pre-event and during the event was particularly helpful. Clarifying directions for "entering" events remotely would negate user anxiety.
Although the registration component is fully customizable, the website itself could be more customizable. It is pretty restrictive on what you can put where.
The registration takes a little while to set up depending on how much information you need. It also doesn't allow for repeat fields which makes bringing multiple guests challenging.
We already registered with Whova for our 2024 event and we will continue to use Whova for the foreseeable future as long as the price doesn't rise too high. It was a bit of a shock to see the difference between last year's price and this year's price - nearly 2k increase! We were able to negotiate, thankfully, to lower the price.
Whova is quite user friendly, and helpful for the conference planner. It has features such as sample emails to attendees and import abilities if you have your sessions on a spreadsheet to avoid having to enter each session manually. Another thing we didn't like was the inability to allow attendees to enter a pre-recorded session only when it is scheduled to be presented. It's either all pre-recorded can be viewed once the conference opens, or none.
We had no performance issues with our event delivery. We did have some meet-ups that had some glitches for some attendees, but I believe they were quickly resolved and were more on the part of user error than anything. Once they got the hang of it, their meet-ups went more smoothly.
Great customer service. My colleague reached out for support midway through planning our event and they replied quickly with a thorough solution to our problem
I only had a single issue regarding a photograph that was handled immediately and a colleague somehow ended up with two profiles which was also handled right away. Those two instances are all I have to go by. Other than that it was smooth but I did have ample information regarding who to contact if I experienced an issue
I found Whova to be similar to many social media apps that I already use. It was easy to navigate. This was my second experience using Whova in my presenter role. I liked the icebreaker section to connect with other participants before the event started. I look forward to next year’s event.
The EventLeaf website made me feel that their product/service was more about my event needs and less about hyping themselves. I found the timely and helpful support from EventLeaf wonderful. The team that presented the live demo were very helpful, answered what might have seemed like dumb questions from me (being new at this) with respect and helpfulness. The ability to customize pricing to the scope and needs of the event we were planning was great
I can't recall the other apps, I've used before, but did have two prior conferences with different apps. I would definitely choose Whova over those other experiences because of the overall package. I also can't say enough about the opportunity to create personal groups to meet with attendees directly. It can often be very intimidating to connect on a larger scale when you don't know anyone, but that option along with the roster (plus option to bookmark people) helped me learn more of my colleagues.
Eventleaf cut the cost of event management software by nearly $2.5
It has saved us countless hours on the phone with customer care--we spent 10 years with a big-brand event management company which equated to 100s of hours on the phone with customer service. I haven't had to contact customer service yet.
Whova made our virtual and hybrid events possible! Our virtual attendees loved the ability to interact and engage with each other, the exhibitors, the speakers and organizers of the event. It also allowed our in-person attendees to do the same, and navigate the conference on-site.
Whova made organizing the conference possible for our small staffed organization! We only have 1.25 FTEs and were able to pull off a hybrid conference in 2022. It wouldn’t have been possible without Whova!
