Chose Glassbox
LogRocket is more suited for entry-level application and lacks the more advanced, in-depth analysis capabilities that we need, and that Glassbox offers.
A key factor in our decision was Glassbox's real-time data export capabilities, which aligned perfectly with our needs, as does the ability to integrate Glassbox insights with our existing data systems.
We chose Glassbox over ContentSquare because it offers an integrated VoC solution that is directly linked to session data. This gives us a much deeper understanding of the context behind the customer feedback.
We required a solution that meets our rigid security standards, in other words, one that offers an isolated environment for data storage. As the only platform to offer Single Tenant storage, Glassbox definitely rises above the competition in this regard.
We chose Glassbox instead of Contentsquare primarily because of Glassbox's built-in VoC solution, which is linked directly to session data. This feature really helps contextualize customer sentiment data and makes the feedback even more insightful.
When we were looking into DEM solutions, we considered going with Datadog, but it focuses primarily on technical issues as opposed to capturing and analyzing user experience struggles (for example, why our customers are abandoning our site). This is really what we were looking …
After considering both Contentsquare and Glassbox, we chose to go with Glassbox because it provided an environment that was more suited to our security constraints. (We require a Single Tenant solution, which only Glassbox was able to provide).
Improved understanding of customer behavior: Glassbox provides a detailed view of how customers interact with a website, mobile app, and other digital channels. This information is essential for understanding customer behavior and identifying areas where the business can …
Glassbox is a customer experience management platform that provides various tools to help organizations understand and improve the customer journey. There may be other products that offer similar capabilities, such as FullStory, UserTesting, and Clicktale. These products may …
Glassbox offered the server side capabilities we needed over anyone. Glassbox does not rely on massive custom event packages. Glassbox user interface is very simple and user friendly. The adhoc reports and fairly easy to use. It is an enteprise wide application and is not …
Google Analytics is great in managing our campaigns and in telling us the levels of conversion. The same for our a/B testing tools which tell us which test is converting higher than the other. The problem with these tools is that they do not tell you the why behind the what - …
Glassbox was able to provide a solution to both a technical and experience use cases. Glassbox put same emphasis on the technical and experience struggles which provide us with more data than any other tools we've seen. Glassbox also ties all events to revenue which helps us …
The ability to integrate our current tools with Glassbox has been one of our major priorities. We have quite a lot of tools we use and we needed an analytics tool that could integrate with all of them: VoC, A/B testing, Google analytics, Adobe, Jira, and more. I love that all …
The automatic tagging abilities were very important for us as we do not have the resources to tag all the website events. The 100% data is crucial to make more informed decisions. The Glassbox service team is also great and very helpful.
Glassbox is an all in one tool which is excellent for multiple teams with multiple goals - customer service, UX/UI, product teams, and more. We were also really impressed with the Glassbox teams before signing - very professional and knowledgeable
More customization options, product road map is aligned with the market needs and great customer success team. The system is clean and very easy to use which made the learning of the different abilities a lot easier and much more smooth
Adobe Analytics is more accurate with data but doesn't have the capabilities like Glassbox (interaction map, session replays, etc.) so we have to cross check data to ensure the information is accurate.
Glassbox covers everything - from technical to experience related events and the integration with our existing tools is super important for us as we stream data from our VoC and analytics tools to Glassbox and can use one centralized system for all our use cases. The support is …
At least during our investigation thus far, all of these companies have a more responsive support organization and are more actively maintaininbg and supporting their products. They are also all significantly more expensive.
I have used Datadog's testing, and it is far more in-depth but more expensive. Pingdom was simple and easy to set up and very reliable, but Datadog had more advanced features but also cost a lot more and wasn't as simple to set up.
We have been with Pingdom since before it was SolarWinds Pingdom. It remains stable and solutions driven and has done so for many years. While it has many features we do not utilize, we are always looking to see which ones we can start to use when we have time. Some of the more …
We have only used Pingdom for these needs, so I can't speak directly to competitors. That being said, for the reasons we used Pingdom it was fantastic value and the fact we never bothered to look for a competitor speaks volumes about our satisfaction with the product.
We use a mixture of atlassian products and chose to use this at the beginning of 2020 when our org switched to full remote work posture. While it was nice having integration with opsgenie and our jira ticketing system it did not provide quite the mixture of flexibility and …
PRTG Network Monitor was a far more complicated tool to use and set up albeit it does both Internal and External monitoring. The setup wasn't intuitive and there are too many configuration options to complete to form an alert
Amazon Cloudwatch is specific to AWS resources and …
It is very suitable for our organization as metrics that it provides like disk space, CPU usage and availability of application, etc. And the main thing is it has good integration with OpsGenie and Jira software so when our application is down or has any issue then we get a …
Some of the products mentioned here are much more "holistic solutions" for monitoring, analyzing, logging, alerting, etc., but for the use case, we use SolarWinds Pingdom. I think that SolorWinds Pingdom is much simpler and friendlier for configuring and maintaining. We …
we migrated from site 24x7 to pingdom because we have been facing issues with the monitoring and alerting. Our customers would reach out to us first rather than our monitoring tool notifying us that there is a problem. Its administration is also very complicated and compared to …
We have looked into using New Relic Synthetics to achieve the same results we are achieving with Pingdom, ultimately Pingdom is significantly cheaper for essentially the same functionality.
We selected SolarWinds Pingdom based on the feature set we desired, which was simply a monitoring solution for our websites and other critical network services. The decision to use SolarWinds Pingdom was based on the simplicity of their mobile app and website.
Newrelic has some simple uptime monitoring but it has very unclear pricing, which depends on how often you ping. And for our needs the next pricing bracket was way too much, maybe 10x. This could make sense if we were going to use the other monitoring capabilities of NewRelic …
I’ve found that Glassbox is particularly well-suited during marketing campaigns, because you can export and analyze data in real-time, track the campaign’s effectiveness, and gain immediate insight into how customers are interacting with your website. With these insights, we’re able to tweak campaigns on the fly to increase engagement and conversion rates. Similarly, since Glassbox allows us to monitor customer interactions in real-time, we gain immediate feedback on how our users are engaging with a new digital feature on our platform, for example. We can then quickly identify any usability issues or friction points, make adjustments in real-time to improve the user experience, and maximize the success of the new feature.
Pingdom is well suited to monitor any of your public facing IPs, so you receive an alert by text message or email when the IP you are monitoring does not respond for a given length of time, from an impressive 10ms to 30s. This allows you to be pretty granular with the alerting. It's less appropriate for monitoring IPs on your LAN, unless you NAT these through your firewall.
Alerting, particularly the integration with PagerDuty.
Reporting: the ability to go back and view the history of each status check (including details about every failure) as well as graphs and reports over a longer time period.
Weekly uptime report emails are very convenient.
Programmatic configuration is possible with a third-party Terraform plugin.
It's a pretty powerful platform, and my sense is that most users don't utilize it to its fullest potential. Glassbox could help by offering a more comprehensive onboarding program (maybe even customized training sessions or live workshops tailored to the needs and use cases of FSIs)
there should be some threshold value for when an application is not reachable, it should alert after 30 seconds and keep sending hello packets for those 30 seconds and if still there is no response, then it should send the alert.
Recently added features have made Pingdom less intuitive for our requirements. While Pingdom has a broad offering and remains a good value, it is becoming more than we need. Our customer base is becoming more and more global and Pingdom still lacks Asia-Pacific monitoring, which we will need within a year.
Glassbox is very easy to use, and with the AI features which it has inside, it has been very easy for us to not only find the relevant sessions but also summarize them and interact with the summary - so we now have all types of people in our org who use Glassbox - including those who are purely non-tech. Also, I must give a huge shoutout to our customer support team who have been instrumental in helping us get value from Glassbox
Pingdom is easy to use, very intuitive and has a very short learning curve. From the onset, we've been able to jump in and leverage the tool to accomplish our goals for page speed performance and discover the insights we need to make improvements. Its a well-designed tool and makes for a good user experience.
Customer service from Solarwinds has always been stellar. We've never gone unnoticed, even though we're currently within their tail segment. They're a great partner to us and indeed an important one. When we've had to submit a ticket, we've always received a response within 24 hours. I'd highly recommend SolarWinds to any organization with a server network
When we were looking into DEM solutions, we considered going with Datadog, but it focuses primarily on technical issues as opposed to capturing and analyzing user experience struggles (for example, why our customers are abandoning our site). This is really what we were looking for, which made Glassbox a perfect fit.
We have only used Pingdom for these needs, so I can't speak directly to competitors. That being said, for the reasons we used Pingdom it was fantastic value and the fact we never bothered to look for a competitor speaks volumes about our satisfaction with the product.
Glassbox has really taken us to the next level in terms of customer sentiment analysis and informed decision-making. We're capturing 100% of customer sessions, and with Glassbox we're able to address hidden issues and make decisions that enhance the experience of our entire customer base, as opposed to just a select few. Our strategic decisions are now based on accurate, comprehensive data, and we're seeing the fruits of this. Our customers are more engaged (and more loyal), our conversion rates are climbing, and our business is growing.
It has helped our organisation keep up to date about any site traffic fluctuations and help us make educated decisions on appropriate server resources for the site
The service is relatively inexpensive making it easy to cost into our maintenance charges
