Compared to other services available, Glassdoor.com has always stood out because they provide an offering that is unique and continues to evolve and improve how the jobs marketplace can better serve organizations and applicants. While other job boards and services have come and …
LinkedIn is the most direct competitor and to be honest Glassdoor's offering does not match up. LinkedIn's product is superior as it is more developed, more precise, you can get more insights as an applicant and as a business. I would use both services but Glassdoor would not …
To be honest, we use both LinkedIn Jobs and [Glassdoor.com] to make sure we get the largest number of quality candidates quickly. LinkedIn jobs allows us to learn more about the applicants before we ever speak to them, but Glassdoor allows candidates to learn more about us …
Indeed is still nascent in the space but often claims to have more reviews for a company. This is true, but we’ve seen these reviews mainly coming from more entry-level or hourly workforce. Glassdoor seems to be more prevalent with all job seekers. Comparably is an up and …
Again, based on the metrics we see in our applicant tracking system, it does not appear as though Glassdoor.com appeals to the admittedly narrow niche in which we operate. We hire highly skilled engineers and developers in the intel community with very high levels of security …
Glassdoor.com appears to operate a bit differently compared to some of the other recruiting platforms I regularly use. From my experience, it doesn’t seem to have the same level of engagement or reach among job seekers. Although it does generate a high volume of applicants, …
ZipRecruiter is much more able to support a busy executive trying to fill a position. The candidates are well-screened, and it is easy to communicate with them throughout the hiring process due to the ZipRecruiter tools.
ZipRecruiter is easy to use, finds candidates fast, and shares job posts widely. It helps hire quickly and saves time. We chose it because it’s affordable and simple.
ZipRecruiter falls after LinkedIn and Indeed. I think their candidate quality, filtering, and overall ease of use are better than recruiters' platforms.
For most tasks I prefer Zip. I find that the inventory is very well rounded and I will get applicants on most skill sets in most locations. I also appreciate that the applicants generally are a match for the role, where other sites there can be a lot of "junk" profiles that …
I haven't chosen ZipRecruiter over the other products I use. I use them together to bring in as many applicants as possible. ZipRecruiter is priced well and provides support for multiple areas of business.
It is better than the more expensive tools like Dice and Ladders. Indeed does offer the option to post nationwide as with ZipRecruiter you have to have a city state to post in and only mark the job remote.
ZipRecruiter is a very good platform other than any other platform , we can use and search many profiles in this platform, it gives only quality resume and gives genunine candidate with proper experience , it is a very good platform in Recruiting field and gives many benefits …
We love Indeed and Dice but I think most of my team prefers ZipRecruiter because of the quality of candidates we get across it. It also works best for us because of the pricing.
ZipRecruiter is inferior when it comes to comparing it to Indeed. I use both because I want more platforms to advertise my job. However, I find myself obtaining more applicants from Indeed over ZipRecruiter. I don't count ZipRecruiter out, though, because every once in a while, …
I don't think ZipRecruiter really stacks up all that well compared to LinkedIn Jobs or Indeed. However, one of my clients really likes ZipRecruiter so, I use ZipRecruiter haha.
We ended up chosing ZipRecruiter because of the success rate we found of the quality of the candidates they provided to us. The Candidates we've found through ZipRecruiter have been very well suited to what we are looking for. Glassdoor didn't have the same accuracy.
It really depends on if you're an employee or an employer. If you're someone who is looking to research a company you're considering joining then absolutely Glassdoor.com is an important data point research. I stress "data point" - the information posted about employers should be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. Most of the negative comments are written by disgruntled employees with an axe to grind. If you're an employer, beyond keeping tabs on your reputation on Glassdoor.com, there's not much to recommend.
ZipRecruiter is great for regular, full-time positions, especially the higher paying salaried positions. I would not recommend ZipRecruiter for the highest turnover positions that are mostly part time because of the price to post on ZipRecruiter. Let me mention, I am only posting hospitality facility positions
ZipRecruiter is very easy to use, even for those who are not tech-savvy.
The platform offers seamless options to mass-message out all candidates who have applied. This eliminates the time-consuming efforts to have to message out to each candidate.
ZipRecruiter parses and connects well with our ATS platform, which makes it easy to track information as well and manage candidate profiles.
I see no reason at this time to change how we would continue to work with Glassdoor.com as a go-to resource for our hiring needs. As we look to hire in the future we will certainly return to Glassdoor.com as well as recommend Glassdoor.com to colleagues and anyone we know who is looking for a platform that they can look to for reliable employee resourcing.
ZipRecruiter by far is the most comprehensive recruitment platform I have used. I have tried many other recruitment platforms and none were as comprehensive as ZipRecruiter. The hands-on assistance by the ZR staff was to notch. When we have an urgent need or just want to keep interest in employment at our campus, we turn to ZipRecruiter.
Glassdoor.com has proven to be an incredibly user-friendly platform that is both intuitive and easy to navigate. I find the overall functionality to be straightforward, which makes it simple to learn and use effectively, even for those who may not be very tech-savvy. I have encountered no difficulties when it comes to posting open positions, enhancing visibility through boosts, or reviewing and managing applicants. Everything is clearly laid out, making the entire process efficient and seamless.
ZipRecruiter is very user-friendly and is extremely reliable when searching for new talent. There are numerous features to help you when you have questions about a posting or your profile. The filtering process is awesome and you have so many ways to find the right talent with the screening questions provided by ZipRecruiter.
Support is generally excellent, but there can be a fair amount of bureaucracy at times for requests. The support people are very knowledgeable of the platform, but sales seem to regurgitate the same info when trying to negotiate or upsell a client. Technical issues are rare and usually solved quickly.
Have not had to utilize support recently, but in past instances they have reached out within 12 hours to help rectify any problems or answer any questions about features and functionality. The only issue I ever had with them was trying to clarify, when they previously advertised that they posted on 200+ job boards, if that meant that your job would for sure be posted on each job board. Turns out, by the way, that they only guarantee distribution, not posting
To be honest, we use both LinkedIn Jobs and [Glassdoor.com] to make sure we get the largest number of quality candidates quickly. LinkedIn Jobs allows us to learn more about the applicants before we ever speak to them, but Glassdoor allows candidates to learn more about us before they ever apply. Both boards have their complementary benefits and downsides, so it's a good idea to combine them if your organization can afford it.
ZipRecruiter is inferior when it comes to comparing it to Indeed. I use both because I want more platforms to advertise my job. However, I find myself obtaining more applicants from Indeed over ZipRecruiter. I don't count ZipRecruiter out, though, because every once in a while, you can find a gem in a haystack.
Average time to hire a candidate is shorter on Glassdoor when compared to our primary platform.
Overall employee sentiment has gone up since we started using Glassdoor and came to know what are the pain points of our employees. It was an eye-opener and since then we made many changes which led to employee satisfaction.
Organization image has improved as we always try to take the feedback constructively and actively try to acknowledge and respond to the reviews.
The ROI we have gotten from using ZipRecruiter is huge, we use it for hiring sales people, and our sales are increased as a direct result of being able to hire great sales people through ZipRecruiter
I like that we have everything we need for our hiring process all in one place. ZipRecruiter does a great job of offering us all of the tools we need on it's platform, which keeps us well organized.
Because of ZipRecruiter, we have hired quality sales people, and it has directly lowered our turn-over rate with our employees.
