I used Octoparse to get mostly ecommerce data and it is working well. I think it can get data from most web pages as long as you can see it on the pages. Because it is scraping the data by getting into the source code of the page or something. And it is good for people who do research: the software can organize and clean the data, so you are able to export structured data into Excel or CSV. This is convenient for further analysis.
