Osano and Vanta both meet our requirements at a comparable rate. When comparing quality of ongoing product support, we felt that Vanta is the preferred option. For feature updates and roadmaps, we preferred the direction of Osano over Vanta.
Vanta's reporting was far superior, the price was competitive but my engineers running the project said that working with vanta would save them significant amount of time. Secondly vanta had more integrations so they could plug directly into the systems we use!
My subordinates recommended Vanta so I personally do not know how it stacks up. Having dealt with it briefly and interacted with customer service I would imagine literally any product and customer experience in the space is better than Vanta.
The QMS is well suited for standardizing the steps that go along with a process. The workflows and activity ownership makes it very easy to make sure that processes are completed according to the way the workflow is displayed. It becomes very simple to track down the stage at which a process is at. Processes are done in a linear orderly manner.
Vanta seems excellent for startups, but I expect that they would be even more useful at bigger companies. I think it really helps people that haven't done SOC2 before. I also think it would help in monitoring compliance across teams with many users. If the budget is extremely tight, I think it would be possible to save money by not using it.
There is always resistance to change, but users are finding Intellect QMS to exceed their expectations as we migrate from our legacy "island" Sharepoint-based processes. Training is actually easiest to do hands-on, and users can learn quickly and then help train others. Users appreciate the personal navigation dashboard and the familiarity of the interface from one application to another. The workflow-driven applications are intuitive and make the system easy to navigate for all levels of users, although the learning curves will vary. The "Design-Test-Live" approach facilitates the implementation of configuration changes suggested by users.

Users appreciate the time and effort saved by having all of the QMS functions connected and in one place, without having to rely on emails, Sharepoint links multiple modes of communication to keep track of their activities and responsibilities.
The no-code platform means we don't need IT support to maintain and configure the applications. One administrator was able to get the system launched and effective in just several weeks, with ongoing training and customization as users and applications are added.
Our organization was recently certified to ISO 9001:2015. Intellect QMS helped us to navigate internal and audits confidently and effectively.
In my experience, they aren't really helpful after all. They ended causing more problems when documents went missing on our trust page. They caused us some embarrassment when we referred people to a mostly empty page.
They are now attempting to, in my opinion, force us to renew service.
