Square Invoices is a software invoicing solution from Square headquartered in San Francisco, California.
Quickbooks is well suited for small businesses and projects, and program-level billing is not built into it. Whereas Concur SAP product is very efficient for Enterprise billing but complex to use and not fit for small businesses.
I prefer to use Xero as this works better for my small business and my accountant is aware of how to use the software, but InvoiceBerry is also very beneficial for its invoice generation functionality. I would use InvoiceBerry if my business needed to generate many invoices but …
It is much cheaper and InvoiceBerry is for very very small businesses. QuickBooks is simple but they keep upgrading their software now it is nice but the features can be challenging to learn and use so again, once the business o the size of the company gets bigger, QuickBooks …
I feel that for what it does, Square Invoices outperforms its competition. Because we have used the program for several years, we have seen how they continue to improve their service - making it user-friendly and accessible for a variety of needs. Other platforms are not as …
PayPal payments is not nearly as user-friendly as Square Invoices, and payments are only near instant when the recipient of your invoice has a PayPal account. Of course, there is no fee associated with invoicing if your client has a PayPal account, but it's very rare that …
Square Invoices is easier to use and automatically transfers your money to your bank account vs Paypal that holds your money and you have to manually transfer and it takes 3-5 days (many times more). Square Invoices looks better overall, and for the same fees as Paypal, …
InvoiceBerry helps in invoicing from individual resource billing to project and program level billing. Best fit for most billing and invoicing scenarios from small to enterprise businesses.
Square Invoices is the best service that I have found for what it does: it's easy to use, nice to look at, and never seems to go to spam or be lost by clients. Clients mention that the setup is easier than services my competitors use. You can even attach your contract to the invoice, which is wonderful in case there are questions later on. Unfortunately, not being able to have clients alter quantities or select add-ons means for half of my services, I have to use a different, inferior service.
I have not used support too often but when I did, it was a big long to get the support I needed. But this is probably related to the cost we pay in general for the tool, it is a way of maintaining a very low cost by having fewer people to provide support. But the tool is so simple that we don't really have much support anyway. For our business, the cost is the first criteria so it is ok if support is not excellent.
The only time I had a problem was a false chargeback from a client. Square Invoices referenced our contract and ruled in my favor, and they did so in a timely manner. I sent them the contract and my email history with the client, and they quickly unfroze the amount of money.
It is much cheaper and InvoiceBerry is for very very small businesses. QuickBooks is simple but they keep upgrading their software now it is nice but the features can be challenging to learn and use so again, once the business o the size of the company gets bigger, QuickBooks might definitely be a better fit but as a small firm, Invoice Berry is perfect. The cost is a huge component for us so we liked it better at the moment.
I feel that for what it does, Square Invoices outperforms its competition. Because we have used the program for several years, we have seen how they continue to improve their service - making it user-friendly and accessible for a variety of needs. Other platforms are not as easy to set up, add items, and access funds after payment is received.
The fee for invoicing is extremely reasonable for how easy it is. At 2.75% per transaction, it's well worth it.
I like that invoices can be printed and mailed or sent via email for easy online payment.
I have a 100% collection rate on my invoices, and they are often paid within 24-48 hours of being sent, which saves me the time of chasing down checks, which can be especially cumbersome when I have multiple clients.
