Lightworks vs. VEGAS Pro

It's best for editors that are beginning their career due to the easy way to learn this. However, you have to buy the license to be able to use and learn all of these great features. I can't seem to find scenarios where it would not be appropriate, this is an excellent, easy tool to work with.

Many of my friends from other companies have asked me for recommendations for some video editing software, and my recommendation has always been VEGAS Pro. Currently, there are many platforms that offer video editing with basic functions but that help to have an editing a unprofessional and without complexity of use, however, VEGAS Pro despite being a difficult software to use, has much more professional functions than any other platform today, its ability to add motion trackers, make image edits, make Simultaneous audio edits is awesome. The only problem that is really noticeable to me and my colleagues who use VEGAS Pro in my work area, is the rendering issue, there are many programs with less time rendering, however, the reason why we still consider that VEGAS Pro is the best option, it is because it offers much more professional editing functions, of better quality. Rendering is an issue that can be fixed by having a computer with extremely good characteristics, so that you can render the video in less time and that it does not affect the consumption of the RAM card, but in general, rendering is a problem for a large number of users. I recommend VEGAS Pro for those who own computers with features suitable for long-term rendering, with a good video card that supports the rendering quality.

• It functions (to me) better when dual monitors are used, but a single screen is good if you don't mind moving the timeline functionality around.

The best and easiest editor I have ever used. I have used everything as an Emmy-Award-winning news journalist, and this program has always done what I needed it to do. Nothing less than the best out there and can get the job done.

Because Vegas Pro is widely used software, the user interface is similar to smartphone editing tools. That is why learning time is very short in Vegas Pro. Whenever you have a question YouTube is your best support assistant. You don't need to contact anyone.

iMovie is a great tool for Mac users and provides a lot of simple drag/drop elements with video editing. However, it is incredibly restrictive if you want to customize your video. With Lightworks, I can easily add text on a screen, captions, transitions, change the framerate and more. No matter the video project, I have been able to find a solution using Lightworks.

Due to [what I believe to be] a decline in software stability and lack of customer support I will be using Adobe Creative Cloud moving forward. I urge others to look at other options and companies that invest in customer support.
