MAGIX Software headquartered in Berlin offers the VEGAS Pro line of video editing applications which combines the company's Sound Forge audio editing suite and a wide range of movie production features and effects.
I think Magisto is the best product when it comes to creating slideshows or quick videos for any business, brand, or individual. Other video editors have better options with regard to adding filters or transitions, though. But I believe that Magisto, besides these two factors, …
The user experience via Magisto is cleaner and fresher. The professional plan for Animoto started at $29 per month in comparison to $9.99 per month at Magisto.
Due to [what I believe to be] a decline in software stability and lack of customer support I will be using Adobe Creative Cloud moving forward. I urge others to look at other options and companies that invest in customer support.
VEGAS Pro beats them all due to simplicity and overall usefulness. It is a true nonlinear editor and not just one with add-ons to protect the faults and weaknesses of the product. VEGAS Pro gets it done and takes your creativity to a higher level. The rest just copy each other …
I had Adobe Premiere but I don't like having to subscribe. VEGAS Pro is a one-time purchase which was a better economical and financial decision for me. My friends that are editors didn't like when Apple changed Final Cut so I did not elect to use it when I had the chance to. …
When we used Adobe Premiere Pro, we found that it was much more limited in terms of the types of source formats it would accept. It also had more trouble mixing and matching different formats on the same timeline. It also crashed more frequently that we liked. Other products …
Vegas Pro is much easier than Adobe Premiere and system requirements of Adobe Premiere are higher than Vegas Pro. Also, the render speed of Vegas Pro is higher than Adobe Premiere. The learning curve of Adobe premiere is very long.
First of all, VEGAS Pro is absolutely and by far easier to use with no doubts about it. I didn't need one class to start using VEGAS Pro while these other options require far more training and research. It's a Windows-based program first and so, unlike these other choices, uses …
VEGAS Pro has more features than iMovie but is nowhere near as complex (or robust, for better or worse) as Adobe Premiere Pro. It is also not as robust as the Avid video editing suite, including Avid Media Composer. However, I do not have much familiarity with that product line …
VEGAS Pro is easier to use than any other video software I have experienced. The end result does not look any different than something made in another (likely more expensive) software. The encoding and export options make for high-quality outputs that are simple to share with …
Magisto is well suited for any venture that wants to promote its work. From a short introduction video with a logo to a more in-depth editing project, Magisto has the tools needed. Magisto provides video analytics, email marketing tools and the ability to embed videos on any website for business users. If you don't want to do record video, just add a group of photos and create a video from them.
Many of my friends from other companies have asked me for recommendations for some video editing software, and my recommendation has always been VEGAS Pro. Currently, there are many platforms that offer video editing with basic functions but that help to have an editing a unprofessional and without complexity of use, however, VEGAS Pro despite being a difficult software to use, has much more professional functions than any other platform today, its ability to add motion trackers, make image edits, make Simultaneous audio edits is awesome. The only problem that is really noticeable to me and my colleagues who use VEGAS Pro in my work area, is the rendering issue, there are many programs with less time rendering, however, the reason why we still consider that VEGAS Pro is the best option, it is because it offers much more professional editing functions, of better quality. Rendering is an issue that can be fixed by having a computer with extremely good characteristics, so that you can render the video in less time and that it does not affect the consumption of the RAM card, but in general, rendering is a problem for a large number of users. I recommend VEGAS Pro for those who own computers with features suitable for long-term rendering, with a good video card that supports the rendering quality.
It would be great if Magisto would allow significantly longer videos—20 to 30 minutes. I've often wondered why Magisto focuses on shorter videos and only recently began allowing videos that are 10 minutes maximum.
I would love for Magisto to offer an affiliate program. I publish a lot of videos that I create in Magisto and refer it to many people in the education and dance industries. I would love to be able to do that as a paid affiliate and I'm sure others would as well.
The best and easiest editor I have ever used. I have used everything as an Emmy-Award-winning news journalist, and this program has always done what I needed it to do. Nothing less than the best out there and can get the job done.
I don't believe I've ever contacted Magisto for support, so I can't really say. The app has only frozen on me a couple of times (recently), and I usually log out and log back in and the error is fixed.
Because Vegas Pro is widely used software, the user interface is similar to smartphone editing tools. That is why learning time is very short in Vegas Pro. Whenever you have a question YouTube is your best support assistant. You don't need to contact anyone.
I think Magisto is the best product when it comes to creating slideshows or quick videos for any business, brand, or individual. Other video editors have better options with regard to adding filters or transitions, though. But I believe that Magisto, besides these two factors, is a better overall package. I think that someone who wants to control every aspect of their video creation might not like Magisto.
Due to [what I believe to be] a decline in software stability and lack of customer support I will be using Adobe Creative Cloud moving forward. I urge others to look at other options and companies that invest in customer support.
