All of these mentioned tools are great! However, Mentimeter is kind of an allrounder tool. First of all it's easy to use and anyone can login quickly and participate in the quiz/survey/QnA. Gamification is quite good, I really like the live world cloud visualisation which makes …
Mentimeter has some overlap in features with Kahoot, but it's more geared toward business users, with less gamification and more question types and possibilities for visualization. While Mentimeter does online polls really well, it falls short when you need more advanced survey …
I have used other polling/survey tools but they are less fun and boring. It was very straightforward, unlike Mentimeter, which can be very engaging and fun to "break the ice". At the end of the day, you want to gain attention from the audience so they would listen to your …
Most used part of Mentimeter is that unlimited users can participate in an event like- poll, quiz or word cloud while its alternative has a cap on maximum number of concurrent participation in their free plans. Microsoft Powerpoint could be used to create polls and quiz but in …
The other tool used in our company for live poll is Zoom because of its direct compatibility with Zoom calls. Mentimeter is more interactive in terms of poll questions and its biggest advantage is wordcloud. However, it being an an external tool for a conference app, it is …
First, there are two products that I use that trustradius's auto-fill doesn't accept. I prefer both to Quizizz: Stand-Land-Fluss (https://stadtlandflussonline.net) and Jeopardylabs (https://jeopardylabs.com). I also use Kahoot and Quizlet. All four are much easier to …
I personally have not used any other products like this that compare with this product. so at this time do not have anything to compare or rate towards quizzez
I prefer Quizizz to Kahoot for the report options, accessibility functions, and leaderboards. When I am using Kahoot whole group it is hard to see the question and answer options. Students used to only have the colored buttons to choose from on their screen, but now they have …
Quizizz is the most visually appealing and easy to build/participate in. I like the availability of many different applications all in one. You can provide presentations, add questions, polls, and quizzes, and check for learning. The other tools don't offer ALL of those in one …
Since many online fun checks are not available in the market, we choose Quizziz because it is easier to use than the others, it has a user icon to use ( which is fun to choose), the site is easy to find. No lag and crash of website.
Mentimeter is great when you want to launch a poll question and show the audience the live result. Also in case of an open text question, the wordcloud works best as when audience types a word, it keeps getting added and displayed on screen. For words answered more, the size increases making the audience easily understand what majority have responded.
It is best suited in webinars since face-to-face is not yet allowed, we need to find or look for something that will create a bond with clients. It is very effective today, fun check or learning check after the presentation gives additional fun to each and everyone during the training.
The user interface is really simple to get started with, anyone can start using it. The simplicity might somewhat limit the set of features, but there are some advanced features hidden deeper down in the user interface that you can find once you're up and running and want to start improving your presentations
All reports are very informative and you can analyze the data by student, by class, or by question. The ease of sharing the assignments via Google Classroom is seamless! Teachers can input their own media and questions for anything (quiz, test, survey, emotional check in, etc)
Most used part of Mentimeter is that unlimited users can participate in an event like- poll, quiz or word cloud while its alternative has a cap on maximum number of concurrent participation in their free plans. Microsoft Powerpoint could be used to create polls and quiz but in that real-time response cannot be taken as it doesn't provide interactivity with audience directly [One have to use extensions/plugins and third party applications like Mentimeter to get feedbacks]. Kahoot is majorly used for quizzes and its usage is also somewhat limited to one type of engagement however Mentimeter provides a wide range of services. Poll Everywhere and Kahoot both has engagement caps on maximum audience where Kahoot can support 100 users and Poll Everywhere can support upto 25 audience in their free plans. This is a game change for Mentimeter as there is no restrictions as so in free plan on maximum audience size.
I prefer Quizizz to Kahoot for the report options, accessibility functions, and leaderboards. When I am using Kahoot whole group it is hard to see the question and answer options. Students used to only have the colored buttons to choose from on their screen, but now they have the ability to see them on the screen. The question bank for Quizizz is so much more extensive and the ease of making your own is appealing.
