Likelihood to Recommend	No answers on this topic	If you are negotiating a document, using WordPerfect can be a problem since so few people still use it and while it is easy to save a .wpd document as a .doc, the reverse creates all sorts of formatting mayhem. Alternatives Considered	No answers on this topic	OpenOffice is great because it is free. For people on a budget you can't beat it. No question that WordPerfect is the superior and more powerful product, but not an option for everyone. Oddly, OpenOffice seems more capable at working with Microsoft Office format than WordPerfect.
