Considered Both Products	Renaissance Learning Jil Borden Library Media Teacher at Livingston Middle School (Education Management, 501-1000 employees) Chose Renaissance myON These two products work very well together as well as by themselves. myON Reader gets some good support from myON News. After students read articles, the program suggests books in myON Reader for them to continue reading on that particular subject. myON Reader has a good … Incentivized Helpful? Athena Ogden Teacher at Forest Grove School (Facilities Services, 11-50 employees) Chose Renaissance myON Renaissance myON is hands down the best as compared to Epic. I am allowed to consistently monitor my students. I am able to print reports to help evaluate student progress. I can also use these reports during parent/teacher conferences so parents and guardians can see where … Incentivized Helpful? Denise Stevenson Teacher at Schuyler Community Schools (Primary/Secondary Education, 51-200 employees) Chose Renaissance myON I like that myOn is connected to all of our resources on Renaissance. The STAR assessments will recommend books at the student's level. They are connected, so students can take an AR quiz when they are done reading. Epic is not designed to do those things. Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Renaissance myON Epic is far easier to use, with more engaging titles and a user-friendly platform. Incentivized Helpful? Elizabeth Cavazos School Librarian at La Joya ISD (Libraries, 11-50 employees) Chose Renaissance myON Freckle is primarily used in our elementary schools and they say they really like the program. Incentivized Helpful? Meredith Sanders Teacher at Choctaw Tribal Schools (Education Management, 201-500 employees) Chose Renaissance myON All the Renaissance products are so user friendly and have the ability to fit into any educator's classroom needs. [Renaissance] myON [Reader] goes hand in hand with Accelerated Reader and easily links the quizzes for the students to access. My students have stayed so engaged … Incentivized Helpful? Shonda Hill Teacher in Professional Services at Venice Christian school (Education Management, 11-50 employees) Chose Renaissance myON I have only used books on myON. Incentivized Helpful? Mario Sanchez Teacher at PSJA ISD (Primary/Secondary Education, 51-200 employees) Chose Renaissance myON Easier to use and has a better availability to students reading habits. Incentivized Helpful? JESSICA MARTINDALE Teacher at Rialto Unified School District (Education Management, 1001-5000 employees) Chose Renaissance myON I like Accelerated Reader because it shows the comprehension level the students have after they read a book. However, I like myON because it just does a few more things than AR-- it goes above and beyond, and you are really able to see the growth your student has made on a … Incentivized Helpful? Vanessa Brown English Teacher at Selma City Schools (Education Management) Chose Renaissance myON They all work very well together and I would recommend all three programs. Incentivized Helpful?
