We felt that Netskope provided a more holistic view in the CASB space from a user and usage perspective. In addition, the cost structure for Menlo was a bit higher and was a bit more complicated in the installation and maintenance perspectives
We are thinking about moving to PaloAlto Solution of URL filtering and Prisma access as it is in much more locations and it looks to be working more stable for users. SO far this is in the test phase so it is hard to say if we go this path but as we have this solution already …
Looked at SkyHigh as well as Cloudlock and felt SkyHigh was the only other leader in the space that was worth serious consideration. Netskope was able to pull out ahead just based on some subjective decisions.
I find that Netskope CASB provides a larger catalog of SaaS applications and provides additional security controls for each app, allowing granularity to what actions end users can perform on the sites. This goes beyond simple block download/block upload, making it highly …
Take into account that security is essential in any organization, but more so when you're in control and need to ensure that everything is running smoothly. A good place to start looking for framework security would be Oracle CASB Cloud Service.
Well suited for an organization that is either architecting their environment for majority SaaS usage, or presently is a cloud-first organization and wants greater insight into their existing cloud placements. It does provide good first-level DLP and will need to be supplemented with a purpose drive DLP control.
Our essential cloud data and infrastructure are protected by Oracle CASB Cloud Service. Oracle CASB Cloud Service is the industry standard for cloud security. They've put in enough time and effort to be able to provide services that rival the best in the business. This program comes highly recommended by me. However, even if it's evident because that's its primary function, it's so satisfying as an administrator in my image to have the security point in control, as that implies that my processes are simple and sensitive data is safe.
Netskope's CASB can be challenging to deploy. If it is being implemented for the first time and staff do not have prior experience with deployments, then professional services should be utilized. Once configured and deployed, the product provides an easy-to-navigate User Interface and can be managed effectively with training.
There have been some struggles with their infrastructure keeping pace with demand and load. Support can only do so much and has to defer to known problems being escalated.
I find that Netskope CASB provides a larger catalog of SaaS applications and provides additional security controls for each app, allowing granularity to what actions end users can perform on the sites. This goes beyond simple block download/block upload, making it highly effective at enforcing the actions outlined in corporate policies.
