It is cheap enough and handles the very basic functionality we need from it fairly well. Since we can pay based on a per-user license and invite guests to lockers, it is far and away the cheapest option for End to End Encrypted file transfers from employees to HR/Management

Sync.com is well suited for all organizations who want to both store & share files in the cloud. Sync.com is only good when dealing with a single account at a time. This means all projects need to reside on a single Sync.com location since there's no app solution currently available to monitor more than one cloud storage location.

  • Different learning curve for our use case (vs SecNAS or SFTP)
  • Confusing Master Password/Recovery Key/Access Key Scheme.

  • We cancelled DocuSign largely because of NordLocker which has saved us thousands.
  • We also no longer host an AWS GovCloud instance which is not as expensive but also requires VPN traffic and licensing.

  • Sync.com has major ROI in not having to invest in more storage space on premise.
  • Files on Sync.com are all secure and are backed up so we don't need to spend the time doing backups.
  • Sync.com does an excellent job of allowing us to share files with others by just entering their email address.
