I would continue using ActiveNet over EMS only because it connects and talks back to Banner, which EMS currently lacks. Otherwise I am not sure I would choose it over anything else as the functionality isn't quite the same as the competition.
ACTIVE Network allowed: grouping of classes, good interface, allowed importing of records, complex payment plans, per class fee structures, user fees, and trial classes.
Haven't used any other product like this. In our search for this product, we did look at a few others and they all didn't seem as customizable as Omnify.
I looked at software based systems for access control, etc. none of them could provide all of the features and usability for both the end user and host that Omnify could. Other, similar web/cloud based services are not as flexible or customizable. Omnify knows that everyone's …
Before Omnify we used Jumbula. Jumbula made registering families much easier but Omnify has the benefit of auto-renew and auto-pay plus the membership set up in general is something new that Omnify provides. We have also used Formsite in the past but it requires a bit more …
The Omnify price point makes it very competitive against its competition. Their great customer service also ensures your issues get dealt with (almost always) in a timely manner. The main thing is to ensure it ticks all the boxes (or as many as possible) for what you want the …
When our business first opened, I attempted to use the booking services provided by our Go Daddy web services. It was difficult to coordinate across medias. Omnify has performed well in all of our necessary services and business needs.
Mindbody was way too expensive and overly complicated for our needs. Omnify allowed us to select a package that only contained the needed functionality.
Good for online registration of community programs; the sort of class which is once a week. Poor for tracking classes where there might be assignments or homework.
Shailja Rohillah, of Omnify, went above and beyond to respond quickly and did everything she could to accommodate my needs. Even when the exact thing I wanted, was not an option, Shailija not only found a work around but put the time in herself to address my need.
I really like the look and feel of ActiveNet Reporting, but it isn't extremely customizable. Maybe there is something I am missing, but other employees have shared that same feedback.
It would be nice to have the system synchronize with other software we use. (EMS, StarRez, etc.) When planning conferences, we currently have hotel guests and registration that we would like to share information for through each system. Currently it is just double data entry.
Would like to be able to add more resources and details to a room booking and have the corresponding departments be notified of the order/track inventory.
We would love to have more specific options for restricting the number of times a client can book a reservation per week.
It would be very beneficial for admins to be able to book clients in advance for classes that are not available to the mass clientele yet.
We would like to be able to edit client's email addresses. Several of our members have typos in the emails provided, so they aren't receiving confirmation emails and they can't log in, so they have to make new accounts.
I'd give it a 10 except it didn't always render well on mobile devices, which caused some frustration for users. Otherwise it was easy to use, easy to manage, easy to make it look like "our" site, and very pleasant.
Omnify's customer service has been pretty much always on point. Their chat feature is a great way to keep track of past communications and follow up on recurrent issues, and their response time is most of the times very quick.
