Chose Omnipresent
Remote, Global Velocity. We choose Omnipresent at the time due to the following reasons: 1) Cheaper. 2) Better customer service (offered a dedicated account manager).
We moved from an alternative provider. Their support was poor, all processes fell to us, such as payroll, conversations with employees despite us not having local knowledge. Omnipresent removed all these pain points and improved our employee experience and compliance …
We ultimately decided to work with Omnipresent due to their dedication to customer service and their pricing. There are a lot of great EOR vendors out there, but we had an excellent relationship with Omnipresent from the moment we reached out for a demo. We also greatly value …
They are nearly on par for feature and product offerings, but we found the quality of the service far superior with Omnipresent, which is what we want to provide to employees. This came at a slight premium in cost.
Oyster HR is great PEO as well, the main different between the 2 were costs for certain locations. Sometimes it made sense to go with Oyster over Omnipresent and vice versa.
Omnipresent had a: - better user interface - better onboarding flow (we previously lost a hire due to the EOR sending them a false contract; at Omnipresent, you get to review them)
There is about the same cost.ROI from DEEL vs Omnipresent, we are possibly migrating over to DEEL as we already have international contractors (not EOR) through DEEL so helpful to have them all on one platform.
I think the biggest issue with Deel is that it grew too fast and the quality of service diminished greatly. I hope Omnipresent does not make the same mistake!
The customer service and knowledge that Omnipresent has compared to Deel was a lot higher. With Deel, we felt that we were just another fish in a big pond but with Omnipresent, the account manager and rest of the teams have been great in providing quick and detailed help when …
Omnipresent used to be great when they started but at the moment we really struggle with the time it takes them to action our requests. It usually takes some time for them to get back to us and a few days to get things sorted. I usually have to follow up with them on the progress. Payroll - we struggle to get variable pay numbers in by the payroll deadline. No amendments are possible and we can't send any off-cycle payments. Payroll is quite limiting. Moreover, Omnipresent doesn't have present in all their countries so dealing through third parties can be very lengthy. Price - considering all the above, the monthly fees are more than other competitors that provide better support, better payroll experience and have entities in all the countries
If you have a company that is hiring employees globally, remote does a great job and helps you with ease. If you are being employed by an international company, you can suggest remote for them, it will really help you and still give you all the benefits of legal worker rights.
Consistency - There's been a lot of turnover of staff over the past year. It would be ideal to have the same account manager for more than six months.
In many countries, Omnipresent uses local service providers to employ folks. In those countries, we see really long response times, and the info provided isn't always accurate or easy to understand.
Omnipresent's support staff are friendly, however when I approached them with this issue of 'invoice statements' rather than normal 'invoices' they said that it was a problem they knew of and that they would hopefully resolve this soon. More than 6 months later and the problem is not solved and it has caused us to decide never to use Omnipresent in the future.
We ultimately decided to work with Omnipresent due to their dedication to customer service and their pricing. There are a lot of great EOR vendors out there, but we had an excellent relationship with Omnipresent from the moment we reached out for a demo. We also greatly value their dedication to implementing changes based on customer feedback - since we started using the OmniPlatform, we've seen countless improvements, and we've been given a lot of opportunities to share our feedback.
