Chose Open Web Analytics
Google Analytics is the market leader for web analytics. The package offers search engine marketing that can be integrated into Open Web Analytics. The features and functions of Open Web Analytics compare close to Matomo Analytics. In terms of market share Google Analytics has …
Serpstat
Chose Serpstat
Serpstat in comparison to a lot of the SEO tools (analysis, testing, tracking, reports, etc.) is a great all in one tool that delivers useful information and is regularly updated. In many cases Serpstat blows the competition away, or works well in unison with the competition. I …
Chose Serpstat
I selected Serpstat because it offered a lot of things like SEMRush but for half the money and it offered more than Ubersuggest had been offering. I also loved the support service I received from Serpstat. They get back to you quickly and have answers to your questions. They …
Chose Serpstat
Serpstat is a great SEO reporting tool on its own that I primarily use for reporting and as an additional reference. The other tools that I use are also good but serve a different purpose. For example, Squirrly and Yoast are WordPress plugins for easy adjustments of onsite …
Chose Serpstat
Serpstat is a full-service SEO tool with PPC features. Includes on-page and off-page technical elements. Not many tools focus on all features. Most focus on specific niches. Serpstat features all aspects of marketing. Organic and PPC ads. It's very feature-rich.
Chose Serpstat
Moz and Ahrefs are each behemoth in their own right and are certainly two of the top SEO tool companies in the market. While they may outperform Serpstat as far as data goes, Serpstat does offer a lot of features and functionality at a fraction of the price. I would love to …
Chose Serpstat
Serpstat is what I would consider a poor man's SEMRush. Although Serpstat is still a great tool, I feel like it's data (especially in competitive research, and PPC research) isn't as accurate or in-depth as SEMRush. Serpstat is much cheaper which makes it a worthwhile tool for …
Chose Serpstat
We chose Serpstat over other SEO tools because of its an all-in-one toolset as well as having a clean, easy to use UI. The price point was also a deciding factor since we were able to do the majority of our SEO research using a single tool with a single monthly subscription.
Chose Serpstat
Compared to the expensive SEMRush, Serpstat is definitely worth the price of $15-$20/month. I'm able to perform nearly all the keyword research and pull similar data that I'm able to as SEMRush without paying a $100/month for it. Serpstat also delivers extremely relevant …
Chose Serpstat
Serpstat is much cheaper than other SEO tools & just as good. It's the ideal tool for someone who needs more than the free SEO tool, but cannot afford Moz, etc. Any business that does content marketing needs a tool like this, and Serpstat is perfect for small businesses because …
Chose Serpstat
Serpstat is right there with the best SEO tools right now. Their support is great and they're very enthusiastic with new features added every month. While their link index and the number of websites they crawl every month is not as good as Ahrefs or improved Moz, it easily …
Chose Serpstat
Serpstat is up there with the list of industry products, but fails to outshine them. All of the industry tools do the same thing, but each tool has their own features and differentiation that set them apart from one another. Serpstat seems to be the simple or generic version, …
Chose Serpstat
I have used Google analytics and found it to be good, but limiting. Serpstat does have a much more transparent way to identify, and examine the wealth of SEO links that my sites have. I've tried a few other free programs online for tracking ranks and I looked into other paid …

Open Web Analytics is an opportunity for those that like to have skeletons for the start of customized solutions. The package offers several best practices set of features and functions. The possibilities add up to higher performance API for example from Google Analytics. The vast of additional features are of higher value because the market does not have other solutions. There are solutions around Open Web Analytics for example in SAP Design Studio that integrate beyond Content Management systems and attached Shops Systems to Warehousing, Logistics, and Deliverment Management. The market situation are covering all that is possible and has demand. The universality is implemented at the user interface and therefore unmatched and even robust for new kinds of visualization interfaces or input device types. A draw is that against payment system remains a security gap and data security and data safety might be a topic for each customer and user.

Recently switching domains provided a lot of headaches for our marketing team. However, with Serpstat we were able to locate all our broken links and contact all the editors to be able to update our link. This alone took us from a DR of 25 to 34. Another practical use was for researching keyword volume for our on-page SEO - title tags and meta descriptions. With Serpstat we were able to determine keywords were worthy of us using in these values.

  • Keyword data provided for multiple sites: this is a standard feature in lots of SEO toolsets. It's not the worst, but not the best.
  • Backlink data: the link data is ok, but suffers from the same issue as the keyword data. If you pay for 100 results per report, expect ONLY 100.
  • Rank tracking: the rank tracking is also standard. It does a good job of benchmarking progress.

Cons
  • Open Web Analytics can be available for integration for the broad mass in all PHP- and Javascript-based Content Management Frameworks.
  • A shop for custom add-ons of the platform Open Web Analytics may be a big chance.
  • Enhance in documentation, examples, best practices are a great chance to get more users active and a broader audience.

  • The daily query limit is sometimes frustrating.
  • For a new person the menu system could be a bit confusing along with terminology, it would be great if there was little help icons next to each selection to help you better understand what they do.

Usability

Serpstat is great to use on the desktop. Being able to get around the site is easy, and using tools such as rank tracking and filtering are intuitive if you’ve used other SEO software. However, their app is not mobile friendly. I do a lot of my work on mobile when traveling or when dad’ing, and it would be much appreciated for the the app to have better mobile UI functionality. I know I’m dreaming, but other SEO software I use is able to accomplish this.
Things like filtering and how powerful it is are not aa easy to understand until you watch some tutorial videos. I think making this feature more intuitive would also help the sites early on adoption from new users.

I believe I've only contacted support once because I had a question about access to a feature, and they told me it wasn't available on the plan I was on. No big deal, they were polite and prompt to respond and answered my question to my satisfaction. I haven't had any real issues with the software, so I haven't needed much in the way of support outside of that question, but I have no reason to believe their support wouldn't be helpful in more pressing situations.

Google Analytics is the market leader for web analytics. The package offers search engine marketing that can be integrated into Open Web Analytics. The features and functions of Open Web Analytics compare close to Matomo Analytics. In terms of market share Google Analytics has all and the other two have very little and their other competitors have almost nothing. That changes in specialized markets. Google Analytics is everywhere and much more influential than other search engines because of that particular service. There had been a dying period for such web analytics software packages. There are three kinds of web analytics software packages. Free/open source like Open Web Analytics and Matomo, Proprietary like Urchin from Google, and hosted/software-as-a-service-packages like the market leader Google Analytics. I consider all as rather different in performance. Those closer to the busiest server are the best for traffic. Heat maps are well placed on the hosting server.
