Pagemodo vs. SocialPilot

If you don't have a lot of time or expertise in custom tab creation, Pagemodo offers a quick and easy solution. Custom templates are great to manipulate to meet your individual needs.

I've already introduced it to a number of my colleagues and it's saving them time too.

• Easy to use
• Lots of themes
• Free version will fill most people's needs

• Bulk Uploading - this is the #1 reason I'm still with Socialpilot! Having a CSV file upload makes it much easier!
• Images are automatically included - with many bulk uploads you'd have to upload your own images rather than it being pulled directly from the link. This is a game-changer!
• Platforms - many are included!
• Price - some are simply too expensive nowadays but SocialPilot is still one of the best competitors when it comes to price.

• For advanced users, it would have been nicer to have more custom HTML options. This area seemed to not interact so well once published.
• It would be great to be able to manipulate templates more. For example changing the size of the photos and a drag drop feature to create your own custom template.

I hoped Pagemodo would enable me (the non-coding Community Manager) to build and manage custom tabs without assistance from our Development team. Unfortunately, to build a beautiful custom tab that is consistent with your brand identity, you will need to use CSS. Additionally, I saw a number of tech bugs, most of which were never resolved (for example I would enter text into an allotted box, but it wouldn't appear on my page). Customer support provided no help.

It is powerful yet so easy to use. The social media analytics provided by this platform are easy to understand. The client's social accounts are managed easily through the client management feature without the need of waiting for the client to make you the admin to manage their page.

I've always been one to price compare first, and SocialPilot has always come out on top with more integrated platforms at the best price! I haven't done my research in the last 2 years because I'm very content with SocialPilot. Still, I do think/hope they will start integrating more helpful tools on the platform with new AI integrations and the AI pilot they already have.
