Chose Paubox Email Suite
Virtru required us to train our end users how to use the product, and when using it was necessary. This opened the door for mistakes (emails not being encrypted when they should be). We also needed to know who needed the solution, so it could be provisioned to them, and they …
I can't remember the email program we used before but we had to log in online and it would not leave us logged in for any length of time. Sending an email and retrieving emails was always so many steps.
I selected Paubox and Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) to use together in tandem because I heard reviews and feedback from many other business owners in my field that these two programs worked the best individually and interfaced seamlessly best together as a pair. The …
Full Gmail integration was not a negotiable item for us in our evaluation. Other products provided our needed functionality, but they were outside the standard Gmail interface. That made them more difficult to use, and also less likely to be used. Virtru was the only one we …
We use the solution to ensure emails are encrypted end-to-end. The solution determines encryption status between the email providers and will step in to add additional layers of encryption as necessary. Additionally, with inbound email protection, the solution can detect impersonation attempts. They also have a DLP module that can be used to detect emails being sent with sensitive information in them.
Virtru is well suited for cloud base IT environments that can push the solution from a central management system (MDM). Also, it can fit companies who would like to get the solution (or start testing it) for groups in the company and not all the users. It might not fit for old fashion industries that need to be in compliance with regulations that force email encryption with a key exchange between the sender and recipient.
I selected Paubox and Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) to use together in tandem because I heard reviews and feedback from many other business owners in my field that these two programs worked the best individually and interfaced seamlessly best together as a pair. The chorus from my industry screamed "G Suite plus Paubox" so after cursory research of other services, I subscribed to both services without seriously considering any other options and never regretted the choice for a second. They work every bit as well both together and independently as was promised to me.
Full Gmail integration was not a negotiable item for us in our evaluation. Other products provided our needed functionality, but they were outside the standard Gmail interface. That made them more difficult to use, and also less likely to be used. Virtru was the only one we evaluated that actually resided within the Gmail interface, making it very easy to use.
