We used to use QwikQuote back in the late 90's and early 2000's. While it was pretty easy to use, it didn't have all the bells and whistles that QuoteWerks has to offer. I don't remember why we stopped using it, but we ended up writing our own quoting software.
We used Excel for quoting before finding QuoteWerks. Excel was time-consuming and errors occurred often with bad or broken formulas and then we still had to manually transfer the quote. QuoteWerks has made quoting quick and easy. It has also made converting quotes to orders in …
QuoteWerks just seems to make more sense for this application than the others. They are great CRM's but they can be quite limited in functionality when it comes to actual quotes, breakdowns, and totals. They leave you pretty much doing it manually, and because of that, …
Zomentum is slightly more "friendly" looking but, not as widely used by industries, therefore not as useful. QuoteWerks has more hard features and many that I don't use but would be useful to bigger or more hard users. QuoteWerks could do with a light version for simplified …
The major reason to go with the QuoteWerks was due to pricing as compared to its competitors which involves the production of the sales made easy as well as easy to use in order to work on the production and cloud migration made easy in order to go with it and resolve the …
Both this software were similar in what they do and pricing, however, the QuoteWork software in my opinion does a better job recording and tracking communications between personnel and clients. QuoteWerks also gives a lot of data that might seem like overkill, but having too …
While I was not a part of the decision-making in either of these tools, I believe QuoteWerks gave us the ability to work with a broader audience than BlueSnap.
QuoteWerks is extremely robust. Its CPQ is what attracted me to it, especially since it can read MS Access and MS SQL Server databases. We connected it with Infinity so we could quote our inventory in real-time.
We have used several other quoting methods and none are as efficient. The fact that the software is installed locally and not a cloud only product makes quote entry much faster.
Our primary alternative was to create our own quoting database using Microsoft Access. QuoteWerks is basically an better version of what we could have built.
I have been working with QuoteWerks so long the last things I used were Word and Excel for making quotes for customers and this is hands down better than either of those.
At the time that we selected QuoteWerks there was not quoting software "married" to ConnectWise. We viewed both products and since the products were very similar we chose the product that more closely fit our budget. QuoteWerks fit the bill.
Both software options have different strengths. I prefer QuoteWerks for how easy it is to customize a quote and add in appropriate discounts, as well as having multiple quotes per account. I prefer Drawloop because it's embedded into Salesforce. Drawloop takes much longer to …
The price point and licensing model was better than Quosal. That was one of the main deciding factors because based on the demos/webinars many of the features were the same.
I used Netsuite a number if years ago and it was nowhere near as good. It was slow, cumbersome, and if your Internet connection burped for a moment you lost everything - no sessions persistence + no autosave was not a good combination. There was also no usable import tool. …
QuoteWerks is a lot less expensive and easy to customize. We chose QuoteWerks based on price and reviews. We also chose QuoteWerks based on the customer service of the sales associate. You seem to get lost in the system with CNET.
We elected to go with QuoteWerks due to it's lower total cost. ConnectWise sell would have been markedly more costly for us to allow our entire team to use it when it is uncommon for more than one of us to be using it at a time.
QuoteWerks maybe a little less user-friendly than ConnectWise Sell, however, the price is much less and we felt we didn't need anything different. One of the features in Connectwise Sell was that you could send to a customer for auto approval, but we rarely need to do that for …
Quotewerks is like its name, it's really good at making quotes and making sure you are quoting competitively sourced IT goods. The other things like full CRM, full PSA, full accounting, will require you to buy something else in addition. so you get this functionality. It's also …
We have reviewed Quosal (ConnectWise Sell). The quoting process is better on looking pretty, but it has a multitude of flaws that done help with accomplishing what actually needs to happen. QuoteWerks accomplishes anything that we need it to do, and if it's short on those …
I was not involved in the process of selecting RFP360 for our firm, so I am largely unfamiliar with competitors. I am, however, quite pleased with RFP360 as a user, and am confident that my colleagues who were responsible for making the decision were thorough and discerning.
None, RFP360 is the first and the last one we will use always. It is the best, I am not sure of other competitors but I have zero desire to even look for them. Everything you need is inside this one software, and if you have past RFPs you can juggle in, it is an absolute breeze …
It was the only one that had a content library that was separate from the main system. Initially, we were only looking for a content library, but we ultimately went with the full RFP360 system and will move to implement more tools in the future. We stopped looking at other …
The sales department is satisfied with QuoteWerks and this generates satisfaction throughout the company. The main recommendation is to use the free trial first in order to know what the goals of each company are according to their size and futuristic vision. QuoteWerks opening easy and robust integration with our CRMs, this also improves workflow. It works as an electronic signature that has improved working time and in general the relationship with our clients because we no longer have to ask the client to print the document and then sign it.
Massive RFP workload- juggling several at a time, filling out answers that are similar. This works incredibly if you have past RFPs to load into the answer bank. It cuts out the time required for completing new ones, while keeping things organized and at forefront. RFP360 streamlines the entire process, giving you at a glance what you need to do when. The Google Chrome add on extension works very well, as well as the microsoft word and excel plugins. The tools given in RFP360 allow one to fill things out at a much quicker pace while having all past answers available, making it easy to update new ones.
The data structure that is required to set up the "price books" behind the scenes is a little cumbersome until you learn how to do it and practice.
The sync function for the data is sometimes a little slow in the Standard and Professional editions because of the Access back-end. The Corporate edition uses a MS SQL back-end and is better.
Analysis Tools: although what is provided is quite good, there is definitely room for improvement. For instance it would be nice if it were easier/quicker for each evaluator to record their notes/comments when scoring, and to be able to search through those notes/comments later. Also, it would be really helpful to be able to annotate/mark-up the actual responses (highlight, underline, circle, call-out notes, etc.), with such mark-up tracked by evaluator, and with the option to hide/show mark-up.
Results Analysis, Reporting, and Presentation: in my opinion, this is the only area of weakness in RFP360. There are very limited options, after scoring/evaluation of responses is completed, for generating reports, graphs, charts, etc. to be used in evaluating results and presenting to the end client. I've always had to export the scores and use Excel to create the necessary visuals for final analysis and presentation.
Complex Questions: RFP360's ability to handle complex RFP questions (e.g. involving tables, charts, multi-part answers, graphics, etc.) is limited, and existing capabilities in this area are fairly cumbersome to navigate and use.
We will renew because QuoteWerks has all the capabilities we require for our business processes and our reps like it. The support is top notch and the pricing model saves us considerable money over SaaS models. I also feel confident that Aspire Technologies will continue to improve and add features
This tool has been fantastic as we have revamped our RFP process. We are much faster and far more efficient. Our win rate is up, but I am not 100% sure this is the cause, but I love to see it. The customer support and training are also fantastic. Thumbs up!
Our company's experience with Quotewerks has been position and we have continued to look at other solutions to make sure we are not missing something, however for the pricing structure for what we use, makes it the right solution for our business.
QuoteWerks is a very stable, robust solution. In my experience: bugs in the software are rare; any crashes or system failures are usually due to other infrastructure issues rather than the software itself, i.e. a problem with the network or server, an issue with a.n.other piece of software on the User's workstation that has a knock-on effect on QuoteWerks.
Once set up and running, and particularly when running the more reliable, faster Corporate edition rehosted to SQL Server, then QuoteWerks performs very well. The only reason for the slight mark down here is that QuoteWerks is very sensetive to having a database connection. If there is an issue whereby the connection to the server is lost (network glitch for example) then whereas Outlook (or a.n.other piece of software) might just wait and poll in 30 seconds time, QuoteWerks will crash and potentially a User lose all changes to the document(s) that they were working on.
Quotewerks Support and the UK Distributor here have always been responsive to our requests and in particular helped us out when we need some new functionality which then got added in the next build...this really impressed me and showed that where case was made, they readily embraced it and the new build was completed within 60 days.
Excellent support during the training process. Since we were onboarded, we have not had too many questions, but when we did, they were answered promptly and thoroughly. We have been very satisfied.
I do not have any key insights on the implementation so I cannot provide any valuable information here. I do know, however, that the process went well when we switched from a old platform to a new hyperconverged solution to host Quotewerks. It seemed to be a quick process and our engineer was able to do so almost seamlessly.
Both this software were similar in what they do and pricing, however, the QuoteWork software in my opinion does a better job recording and tracking communications between personnel and clients. QuoteWerks also gives a lot of data that might seem like overkill, but having too much information is better than too little.

We've implemented QuoteWerks in both micro ("one man band") businesses as well as much larger organisations. With QuoteWerks Corporate editions option to host the backend database on SQL Server (a very powerful and scaleable database platform) it's possible to work effectively with QuoteWerks in an organisation with many 100 Users. The flexibility of the product also lends itself very well to evolving with a growing business and having various individual user configurations to help them work best with the software in their individual role in the organisation.
