I wasn't involved with the selection process, but for anything that I have experience with that is specifically for associations, iMIS Engagement Management System stacks up pretty well. It doesn't compare well to the others like a SalesForce or Marketo, but it's not really …

Being at church, there are just not many options in the marketplace. iMIS provided us the base functionality we needed knowing that we could develop the additional items that were not found another solutions.
We were unable to have an attractive site for our association when using Podi. iMIS is much more equipped to handle the different pages and links we list on our website. Although Podi lacks in attractiveness, iMIS lacks in the department of providing easy reporting options and …
I think both are great tools. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. I really like the CMS component that comes with iMIS. It is important for an organization to be able to quickly build websites to engage their members. iMIS provides tools to do this out of the box.

iMIS is great for membership associations who need one place. I love their contact database, I just wish we could pull reports easily from their system and publishing would not freeze when making changes to our website. Everything that does work correctly is really easy to set up.
Raklet Membership Management Software is really good if you need to keep track of a lot of people, publish events or send emails. But I don't think it is the best way to create socials profiles because you cannot add too many things other than your current company, position, mail address, school, department and profile picture.
I wasn't involved with the selection process, but for anything that I have experience with that is specifically for associations, iMIS Engagement Management System stacks up pretty well. It doesn't compare well to the others like a Salesforce or Marketo, but it's not really meant to. Many times those products are out of the price range for associations.
We also evaluated those products before moving on with Raklet Membership Management Software. I would say the main problem is that these products are well-pronounced among membership management softwares. For this reason, first, their interfaces looked outdated and boring, and we would like to have a better landing page to promote our readers to visit our website. Secondly, they are not as flexible as we like them to be. Most of the other solutions offered one-for-all; we didn't feel like using them because we wanted something special and customized.
We measure ROI in terms of changed lives, not revenue since we are a church and a non-profit organization. As our church has grown, we have been better equipped to identify new visitors, follow-up on the physical and spiritual needs of our membership and give away leadership to our members.
