According to the vendor, marketers report on their results for two reasons: to prove their value, and to improve their results. Additionally, the vendor says TrackMaven is the only marketing analytics platform that gives marketers the ability to do both across all of their digital channels. TrackMaven’s marketing analytics platform integrates with all the tools marketers are already using to measure their performance — including social networks, web analytics providers, and all major…
RivalIQ doesn't try to be everything like RavenTools, and it isn't a management tool with some analytics like Sprout Social. It is a pure analytics package, which is exactly what we needed. Because of this tight focus, they do it better than anyone else.
These products are similar, but don't provide the same friendly interface or analytical view of the social space. Both of the platforms above (Olapic + Track Maven) are great for social media users, influencers, and trend-data, but if you're looking at improving your own …
I demoed this platform as an alternative to Rival IQ and it has some of the similar features but the cost is much higher so it wasn't in our budget. If I had the choice, I might choose Falcon over Rival IQ because the visuals are much better than they are in Rival IQ.
They were really flexible with a project that needed us to plug in a TON more competitors than an existing plan would have been feasible for; we enjoyed the tool enough to keep them on afterward, and even renewed even a year later. They appeared to do competitive analysis much …
I inherited TrackMaven, as it was already being used when I started working here, but I really like it! It's much easier to use and has an incredibly fast learning curve so I feel like I'm using all of the features of the tool right away. The customer support team is very …
I don't have much experience with other competitors. I've been very happy with using TrackMaven. I think the team at TrackMaven has been really great in taking the time to make sure I understand the platform and that I am getting all of my questions answered. The staff is super …
TrackMaven is head and shoulders above the other products I've used. Again, cleaner and more friendly UI. Plus the data seems to be more accurate.

I have personally used HootSuite and have interacted with many alternatives. There is no comparison. HootSuite and similar products simply aggregate your social media feeds into one platform and allows for scheduled-postings. TrackMaven takes data above and beyond to deliver …
It is great for competitive analysis if that's an ongoing need, and the upside of how it calculates engagement rate is that it's consistent across competitors (even if I think the methodology is flawed). We really only used the competitive data up front, and then sparingly afterward. If you want true impressions/engagement rate for Twitter, Instagram, and in some cases Facebook, then this is not as good.
If your brand is looking for understanding competitors and normalizing data across disparate follower counts/footprint size, Trackmaven is great. Users need to understand the power of Boolean logic. TrackMaven needs dedicated users and time spent in building reports in order to understand how to use it.
For the foreseeable future. TrackMaven is focused on measuring social sharing. We wish it also captured information about pageviews and monthly unique visitors -- the kind of data that lives inside Google Analytics -- or integrated it through an API. It would be exceptionally helpful not just to have all those metrics in one place, but also to easily measure correlations between them.
Support is continuous and very helpful. Email, phone, and chat support are always on and someone is always there to help. Your CSR will contact you quarterly to take your temperature and offer assistance or training, if necessary. Feature requests are taken seriously. They share their product development roadmap, which is a major plus.
These products are similar, but don't provide the same friendly interface or analytical view of the social space. Both of the platforms above (Olapic + Track Maven) are great for social media users, influencers, and trend-data, but if you're looking at improving your own brands' performance, Rival IQ is the best bet.
I inherited TrackMaven, as it was already being used when I started working here, but I really like it! It's much easier to use and has an incredibly fast learning curve so I feel like I'm using all of the features of the tool right away. The customer support team is very helpful and works hard to make sure that you are really using the product to its full capabilities, rather than just scratching the surface
Paid Search & Social - TrackMaven has given us the ability to develop smarter social advertising and reach our audience with the right messages
Account Analytics - the account overview we receive in TrackMaven of our own social media accounts is duplicative of what we already get through other software
Funnel Analysis - If we can better see which efforts are paying off with leads, at a granular level, we can use our social spend budget more wisely
