More Info Chose SANsymphony I actually have my VMware running on top of this. Datacore simply makes the data storage available to my vmware servers as needed. More Info Chose SANsymphony DataCore is far easier to manage as well as deal with when it comes to hardware (as DataCore works with any hardware). It also seems way more affordable. More Info Chose SANsymphony Very proprietary and not sure if it's still around. Pricing was not an issue, just the vendor lock-in was an issue. Simple software layout and not too many hiccups for HP. More Info Chose SANsymphony Since it's running on Windows, it's very easy to understand and get ready to work. Simple concept, great UI, very straightforward. Since it's running on Windows, it will require more updates and patching than a Linux based Virtual SAN.
