For our company, we use Tuskr for software testing. It's a good tool to run software test cases easily. We are mainly using it to save time and for Smoke & Regression Tests. It's very simple to add test cases and also to run any tests. Features are easy to understand.
Chose Tuskr
Selected Tuskr because we can add test cases of different projects under one tool. We can add different test run and we can use show the test execution report and also it can be integrated with different tools like github, jira ,slack and many more. Test cast case management …

Chose Tuskr
Tuskr is the suitable product that I have used to run test cases. The cost of deployment and maintenance is efficient for both small and large scale business enterprises. The dashboards have unique interface that displays project progress. The data management provides charts …

Tuskr has introduced best approach of test cases that used to give us problems. I have not worked with similar testing tool before but our center of interest in test cases have been solved by Tuskr. It has full package for carrying out all the test tasks that operates across …
Chose Tuskr
Its very difficult to maintain test cases on google sheets as compared to Tuskr which has test suites and sections to organize the test cases. Also there are no test runs in google sheets to keep a track of the progress while testing.
Chose Tuskr
Tuskr has better visual representations and is much easier to setup and use compared to other platforms
Chose Tuskr
So far I prefer Tuskr over TestRail. I haven't explored everything, but Tuskr seems more modern, and more refined. While there are still issues to be resolved, TestRail was expensive, and their payment philosophy left a lot to be desired.
Chose Tuskr
Inexpensive providing same level of features. Covers all our necessary requirements in test management. Made my task easy in familiarising the test plan to my juniors. Simple to use UI is easy to understand and does not require much knowledge sharing. One of the best customer …

Overall, I'd say that Tuskr has a much nicer interface than Jenkins, it does a great job to show your test results and additional information regarding it (errors, warnings, etc...). Even though it does take time to learn how to use the software, it is somewhat easier to learn …

I think SpiraTest is well suited as a test suite, but in situations where the team is already using multiple products from one particular provider, it may be better to go with that provider's test solution. This is because integrations are very important nowadays, and should be considered when picking your project management software. It should be noted that management selected SpiraTest primarily due to the low cost of the test software. I'm less familiar with other test software in the field, but if cost is an issue, you should take a look at SpiraTest.

Its interface, features and dashboard which help a lot to streamline the workflow. And its really very ease to use. My team and I just use this software and adapt in a week. I surely recommend to any organisation, in regards of pricing, features and interface. And their customer support.

Cons
  • Training can be difficult to find at times.
  • Basic reporting can become very verbose unless you set lots of filters and parameters.
  • The ability to customize some of the verbiage in the application would help bridge the gap between translating what SpiraTest's testing terminology is and the company culture uses for testing terminology.

  • When you click into a specific test, the status automatically clears. it would be nice for this to be preserved when clicking in instead of clearing
  • It would be nice to be able to add comments specific to certain steps in each test, instead of just one big comment box
  • Since we use Tuskr for QA, we structure it as a table with instructions and expected results. because these are side by side, sometimes it is hard to go in a step-by-step order when there are multiple QA steps to take to complete the test.

As promised during product selection, SpiraPlan support has always been quick and helpful. Replies almost always come back in hours (and often in an hour or two). And SpiraPlan's online tech support maintains all support conversations online so no need to look through emails to try to recall repllies.
